Junkrat nerf is a mistake

So, they accidentally nerfed junkrat and buffed tracer.

I think they meant to give junk less time on recall and give tracer increased cooldown on concussion.

I mean, I said the last few days Junk’s easy combo was a problem, and was attacked for it.

:man_shrugging: Guess, I was right.

I also said Tracer is a problem, and they buffed her, so half right.

Junk’s ā€œeasy comboā€ isnt even easy and junk cant combo 99% of the cast.

250 and below he can. Good Junkrats can still combo you down just as easy as before, now you just gotta adjust your cd timing one second.

I know it sucks to be nerfed, my main got nerfed too, but she deserved it.

Shot and mine does not kill a 250. It does 225 tho. So it can kill 10 heroes. Given it a 250 is missing like any health at all it will also kill them.

Biased patch for OWCS Finals.

Doesn’t he do 125 on direct impacts? Unless I’m mistaking that and I will gladly say I was wrong. So nade+mine is a kill on any 250 that he’s close to and aims well for.

He should be rewarded for it, not saying he shouldn’t be, but with S9 changes, his combo became way more consistent, and sadly they nerfed him for it.

Edit: 245 would be that combo damage, double nades is 250. Got it.

The damage dealt using the mine and bomb is rlly dependent on how u hit the mine. Simply having mobility helps with not getting hit with maximum mine damage.

And even then, the junk has to time the mine explosion close enough to recieve the full reward.

Yeah, you didn’t even know the combo was 245 max until 14 minutes ago. You’re done involving any discussion regarding Junkrat.

Junk has been strong and I’ve been saying it for a while now but the forums were pretending he was bad lol

Respect to ur opinion, but i just dont see it.

Ive noticed that junk players can perform using heroes like tracer but tracer players cant perform using junkrat. Even though thats my personal experience, my experience remained consistent.

I’m glad they nerfed junk, and tracer got buffed!
I love how they buffed most of Kiri’s kit too, honestly this patch is one of the best we’ve had in the last 2 years.

The only strange thing was buffing Moira, but not mercy…

But then they went and buffed Tracer while ignoring Widow and we’re supposed to act like it makes any sense at all.

Just can’t let things go can you? Shining example of why the forums are just ignored by 3/4 the player base and the devs themselves. Yikes.

Moving on.

Shining example of you not knowing anything you’re talking about regarding Junkrat. You didn’t even know the combo was 245. You don’t know basic things about the hero. Stop trying to talk about it like you know what you’re talking about when you don’t, Joe Rogan.

It’s not productive for anyone here when you’re doing that. So, yes, move on.

Applied, ignored, moved on. Yawn.

can we stop pretending like junkrat is bad?

the hero is so annoying to play against, u can’t counter him in tight spaces, he can spam in one spot and still get kills, i never understood how this community even remotely thinks of a hero that can deal 100 dmg per bomb as ā€œWEAKā€ maybe u should just learn to aim instead?

Y’know what? I may disagree, I may not like it, but this is the kinda thing we oughta see more.

Who’s your main? Junker Queen?

Yeah, but I knew it was coming, 2.5x wound healing is too strong. When you can outheal at least one of your supports consistently, and be more independent than most other tanks because of it, there’s an issue.

2.25% is fair, but the knife nerf is where I’m going a little ? on.
