Junkertown - Particle emitter when shooting at pipe valves not capped = mega framerate drop

Issue:
Huge framerate drop on Junkertown: all piping valves on the map (round shaped handles connected to pipes) emmit a lot of particles when shot at. Every pellet from D.VA or Reaper’s guns can spawn a particle effect. The result is a major framerate drop in the 10’s if you continuously shoot them. On a mid range GPU card (GTX 1660ti.)

Expected result:
Emitter should only spawn particles once per second. Or cap the number of particles spawned on a given time period.

EDIT:
Not a show stopper but I’d feel weird knowing this can happen on a map years after its release… keep it up and clean OW team.
