My problem isn’t with the knife or the axe abilities. Those are perfect. It’s the shout that needs a bit of a rework. My biggest problem is with the cooldown, 15 seconds is way too much. I think they should reduce it to 12 or 13. Or don’t touch the cooldown but give her a bit more health. In my opinion raise her health from 450 to 550 but then reduce the health gained from shout. I love playing her she’s a very fun hero but I often die mostly because of the long cooldown on shout.
I hope I’m not the only one and my message will get to the right people.

Her passive is a joke and I genuinely can’t even take it seriously as its own thing when talking about her sustain I appreciate what they were going for but they either buff that or lower the shout cooldown by quite a bit

It was made longer because it enable a disgusting comp that both tedious to watch, and tedious to play against.

1 sustain?
Literally everything she does heals her. If you’re dying quickly as her, it is probably because you’re playing a brawl hero again long range poke/snipers. At which point you either need to group up and rush people, or swap.
The knife heals for 15 over 3 seconds so 5hps
The axe heals for 40 over 3 seconds so ~13hps
I cannot no matter what take these numbers remotely seriously
Her ult heals too yeah but that’s like the only time the passive actually helps you out
Combined with her 1 sustain ability having a 15sec cooldown it really makes me wonder what the devs were thinking making a brawly close range tank with one of her abilites being straight up slow af and melee range to hit when she can’t even sustain herself properly
I agree, keep her team synergy where it is but buff her elf sustain, I’d just put the CD to 13 and buff her hp to 475

That means you’re either not playing her well, or trying to play her in a suboptimal situation.

Imagine you get a knife and an axe on someone then thats less than 20hps for 3 seconds you know that right? And boom you used both your abilites and shout is still on cooldown

she was op af in beta, I don’t think the issue with her is in her kit, it’s just that zarya is better in every scenario

She was. They massively nerfed her because the comp she enabled was horrific.
it is a problem to manage this skill. For a whole phase of the OWL JQ remained OP compared to the other tanks due to her excellent pool of life that allowed her to do too much for the team (and therefore the “Joats”, a goat with JQ). These are the nerfs that JQ received from the beta to the October release:
- Commanding Shout
- Allied health bonus reduced from 100 to 50 HP
- Allied duration reduced from five to three seconds
- Temporary health no longer decays over its duration
- Cooldown increased from 11 to 15 seconds
probably of all these nerfs I could agree on rethinking the cooldown too large, bringing it back to 11 sec… without it the defense that should guarantee as a tank turns too much into a dps that ignores the team.
sounds bad, probably the allied from 3 to 5 would be better, more team utility in a fight but not an unfair uptime.
I remember in beta just hitting a crazy overtime point-blank clutch hs on a blading genji on widow last point of the brasil map and the guy surviving because of the +100 hp and they ultimately won the game and it felt so freaking bad… like that was an unreal shot and didn’t mean anything because of a button press.
before anything else, I’d wait when the diva/zarya nerfs go through she might become more viable without change

I don’t mind the 15sec cooldown if she gets more Self Heal. Her self heal is only obtainable from landing shots so better JQs are rewarded
Bruh that’s literally how you play the character. No cooldown management in the word is gonna turn here pathetic passive into an actual sustain.
Shout is litterally her best ability. Each 15s, you have a mini Lucio ultimate, with proper team comp, it’s deathball each 15s.
Shout needs a nerf imo. Maybe the self-heal could be buffed. Right now, self-healing seems making no difference as its too low or too risky to get.

Junkerqueen is dead because geoff goodman never does minor nerfs, only full character deletion. It’ll be another 2 months before blizz decide the time has come to MAYBE let her be playable for a little while.
