Stadium. I do like how the randomness of junkenstein’s lab forces you to branch out a bit more but I do prefer having some strategy

Lab should’ve had all the characters not in Stadium
both are absolutely garbage with a tiny limited set of heroes.

Yeah its like wow would make a new Expansion and remove 6 classes from the Expansion.
Wow who could have seen a mode like Stadium wouldn’t have all the heros finished!
Theyve been adding them at a surprisingly steady pace for how much they have to do for a single hero to be added to the mode.

I would have had more fun if different heroed where added first.
it got a lot better with tracer added.
befor I had 0 reason to even try it as why would I play a hero I hate for 4x longer than a normal match?
its also why I disliked the event modes.
They know people prefer heroes and dislike others. So they decide to only allow a handful of heroes for reasons that are beyond me.
Stadium comp. Wasn’t a fan at first, but it’s grown on me recently just because QP and normal comp (thanks to the rank reset putting people where they shouldn’t be) is crawling with too many noobs.
Stadium is the future of overwatch.
Lab by far.
For stadium to have been a dream come true for me it would need to be much more like lab.
For one
No store or earnings it’s a bad mechanic imo and a snowball mechanic that is so obviously bad they have to add money boost to make it even, just get rid of it it is not needed.
So get rid of the store.
Move the hero specific items to powers.
Let a user pick up and drop one power per round. Unlock powers into more powerful stuff as the rounds go.
This would be my dream overwatch.
Just 5 rounds of cool powers with no dead rounds like stadium has.
If lab was permanently in the arcade it is literally the only thing I would play outside of them making me play other modes for rewards.
I don’t like either. But Lab. Because it’s faster.
I love Stadium.
I’m not a fan of Junkenstein’s Lab, though I appreciate what it ultimately brought to the table. It’s just kind of a mess.
Stadium > standard> Lab
The lab mode has too few characters for me
Stadium is still lacking and some builds reward 0 effort, but the Standard 5v5/6v6 is boring for me a long time ago
4v4 team deathmatch.
All of these gimmick modes have to stop consuming slots of real actual popular modes.
the one that dont make me waste 40 minutes with a lot of death time wasted on the stupid respawn room and have the most annoying announcer ever created
Cmon Stadium is legit the most interesting thing to happen to OW in years. Even if you have quibbling issues over balance. And Gsync - wth? You obviously can’t just throw in every hero immediately.

Stadium is just Junk’s Lab but better, imo. More heroes, more control of your builds, more variety in map modes. (I’ve gotten less and less fond of 2cp as a game mode as time has gone on, weirdly.) One specific thing I really like is the increase in health everyone gets every round in stadium. Rounds 3-5 in the Lab can have fights over in seconds depending on the card RNG.
My vote goes to Stadium. I like both versions of it. There is some heroes I can’t wait for them to ad.
