Caught a bit of the Mayhem vs Spitfire match and I noticed they were both mirroring JQ, most significantly on Gibraltar where you’d think a more vertically mobile tank would be appropriate. Even after her nerfs she’s a strong pick.

thanks to this 99% of my posts in the past month or so has looked stupid 
dont get me wrong mostly my posts look stupid but even more so now
it was weird seeing her on watchpoint…that isnt a thing that should happen

I mean Mercy is sadly a niche pick in OW2. She needs other changes instead of “increased survivability” which no one asked for. All of the other 6 supports can things better than Mercy in OW2

It makes me wonder, do you ever think Blizzard might mention to them that they should try and use the new heroes? Just as a sort of pr move?
Nope. In the Kickoff Clash, barely anyone played Sojourn because Soldier was just better. They play who’s best, and Blizzard tends to make new heroes the best.

No. When Sojourn was not that great at the beginning no one was playing her. The OWL teams just started to play her after she got giga buffed to get forced into the meta.

No….cause for example way back before RQ when they were playing GOATS all they had had to do to eliminate the “problematic” comp was exactly what you’re saying now:
Play this (or in the particular case I’m mentioning it - don’t play GOATS)
If they couldn’t do it then I doubt they’ll do it now

The OWL will very likely play the next Tournament cycles on Beta 2. I’m still skeptical if the OWL have access to the Overwatch Test Server (NDA server is up again with 2.1.0) to try out Fox Girl before she launchs, so they can run the final tournaments with the launch build of OW2.
Yeah sadly she’s super overtuned but it’s not surprising since she’s new. I don’t think she’s very fun to watch however

I’m honest watching most of the time Genji’s perspective is more boring.
i kind of hope they dont nerf her on release. i wouldnt mind playing a strong junker queen for at least one competitive season lol
(although i dont play comp but i had so much fun with her in the beta… because i did win playing her. unlike other heroes where i lost a lot heh)
I mean, that’s hand-in-hand with the fact that JQ is too strong. If you aren’t playing JQ or Sigma you’re at a severe handicap because super rush is just better in every way.

Oh I think they will not nerf her that much. Maybe they looking onto her hitbox / health a little bit. Maybe there are reasons why she is so strong. Maybe Fox Girl is a potentional counter for her? The devs mentioned that the balancing we see is designed with the new heroes kit in mind.
