So I didn’t know where else to put this, but I recently got a joystick to try playing with for fun, but I can’t seem to get the vision radius to move. The fire buttons are mapped correctly, but moving the stick does nothing. Anyone know how to fix this?
First please understand not all input devices will be supported by Blizzard directly. Secondly can you please provide the make and model of the joystick you are trying to map? Are you trying to use it with any other devices? For example, some other games work to allow a keyboard and a joystick to work at the same time, but Overwatch runs into conflicts with this.
That’s fair. I believe it’s a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro, and this is the first device I’ve used it with. However it was from my dad, so I don’t know what he’s used it with.
Unfortunately according to the little research I did the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick has compatibility problems with Overwatch and the axis are not functional.
But, it is possible to map the inputs from unsupported controller devices as an Xbox 360 controller with software such as the one detailed in this Reddit reply in order to make them compatible with Overwatch:

Try the hyperlinked software out and see if it works.
Yeah, that fixed it. Thanks
