That’s very true. And frankly I would love a Sombra sombrero skin. But even more, I would like a Sombra foot skin.
But I think you have to agree, they definitely give the community a tase of lewd every now and then in the Summer Games event. Because while bikinis aren’t explicitly nsfw, they do go a bit against the family friendly mission.
Yeah I’m not saying the characters are naked by any means. But the thing about family friendly is it doesn’t have an actual guide book.
All I’m saying is I think Blizzard knows what alot of fans want. And they likely talk about how far they can go with it while keeping their image. Or atleast the one they think they have.
Which is why even fantasy armor has armored bikini, at least. Zero actual protection, but can run without pain.
Who wants true to life stuff in video games? It’s just no fun in most cases.
If we are talking about realism, may as well add realistic wear and tear to hero’s clothes, so as hero’s health goes down, clothes become torn and damaged.
They started OWL on OW2 already in beta, E-Sports is still vastly popular and profitable. I have my doubts that OW2 would be a thing if it weren’t for E-Sports and OWL. They’ve made some good money on OWL over the years, it’s just in the last years it has dropped in popularity
Nope, which is why I think they’re investing so heavily in OW2 and why OW2 PvP is pushed out as fast as it is (because lets face it, it’s FAR from ready judged from the beta). They don’t want to sit on it for too long any more and want it to generate money. Meaning they’re using “Early access” stamp as a “get out of jail free card” to release a game that’s roughly 70% done.
Yeah that’s probably right. Although I’ll admit I still think there’s a good chance of a delay.
But I also think we might actually be at the beginning of the end for OWL. Atleast how it is right now. Pros are sick of it, ordinary players are sick of it. And alot of their views are people being paid to watch it. So I could see OWL coming to an end in the future.
Overwatch is ESRB-rated T, so very likely to not happen on female characters.
Also for some reason boobs are demonized in America, it’s a travesty to portray them fully, partly or even attempt to mimic how they behave with gravity in a video game form. It might be seen differently in other countries though. But yeah, OW (and OW2) are being produced by an American company, and it’s rated T for Teen; so no, no one is ever going to see boob physics in Overwatch 2.
Can y’all go be somewhere else. This gets exhausting after a while.
And just because “WELL OTHER GAMES HAVE LEWD SKINS” doesn’t make that a good thing. Not unless they’re going to hypersexualize the male characters as well as the female ones.
(Which they never do, unless they’re a damned gacha.)
If there was new skins relating to Mercy looking like a stripper and had those physics installed. But the skin costs 40$. Blizz would be super rich in less than a month. Fan-service at its pure finest
