I've used FTH so many times as Mccree since the update

That I forgot how to go for a crit-shot stun combo. Feels bad :disappointed_relieved:

The crit-shot stun combo is useless knowledge now, anyway.

How his fth buff made it to live I will never know… it’s ruining the game. Sometimes I don’t think the devs know what they’re doing

The crit-shot stun combo still has use. If you’re in a 1v1 duel and stun the enemy at the edge of the Flashbang, going for the crit shot leaves you with an escape method. The alternative is is using Mccree’s role to close the distance, then FTH. That uses two abilities.

If at close range, always go for FTH. This is because it’s harder to line up your sights for a crit shot on targets that are closer.

Honestly, it’s almost a Symmetra situation now. Unless I’m at long range, or I’m fighting someone super mobile, it’s just so much more efficient to FTH everything. Headshots are only worthwhile if I’m pretty confident I can pop off a few headshots… which ironically, basically means when I’m fighting tanks

Honestly, there’s a problem when people are using their ultimate ability so they can cancel it and have a fresh reload to dump another six bullets with another FTH.

This needs to be changed IMO.

Symmetra had a chance to become useful, Blizzard screwed her up nice and good now. Even more situational than she was before, and will probably never be touched.

New Symmetra has seen a massive development in the T3+ Scene recently on Hanamura

Hanamura I can understand.

Players are potatoes when it comes to holding first choke. The enemy can never seem to understand that TP goes THROUGH chokes.

Oh don’t get me started on mercy. I don’t get why the won’t just buff or rework her and end the endless campaigning. Give the community what they want… the other supports will not compare to her… people just like mercy full stop

Thats the only legit use of sym i’ve ever seen in the T3 scene. The only time before that was at launch a tad and beta(when she was op).

It’s 60 more damage. It’s not broken, I feel like people are really exaggerating.

If it’s 60 more damage, might as well remove Winston’s knockback damage melee combo.

Let’s give Shield Bash 60 more damage xD

Yes, but that 60 damage steps over several damage thresholds that he didn’t meet before.

For instance, FtH combo used not have the capacity to kill Hammond, DVa, and Roadhog. Now it does

FtH now gibs Bastion. It didn’t before

FtH can now reliably gib Brigitte and Doomfist even when they’re proccing abilities. It couldn’t reliably do this before

That’s why it’s a big deal. It’s not as straightforward as ā€œ60 more damage,ā€ it’s a case of McCree has put several heroes within combo range that he couldn’t combo before. In fact, every hero is in combo range now.

The threshold is actually many more times greater than even you stated lol.

Right, yeah. It’s not like two or three thresholds just got into his range–a huge number of them did.

To take an example, imagine if his Primary got buffed from 70 to 85… that not only puts Tracer and baby DVa in one-shot range, but it puts every hero into one shot range with damage boost. And it moves the 250 HP heroes down from 4 shots to 3 shots, it moves 400 HP heroes to 5 shots from 6 shots, etc etc etc

Obviously that’s a proportionally larger buff, but the consequences are comparable
