X-pro/X-streamer says Sombra is OP, half of the community hops on the OP train.
But the viability in lower ranks is low and the needed communication/callouts are also kinda lackluster.
Some pros play Goats, means Rein is OP, because he is the main-tank.
But Rein doesn’t actually work without teamwork and teamwork is often not available in lower ranks.
Reinhardt is just as strong as his team is!
Good, the Goat-season might be ended, but in lower ranks you where still able to play whatever worked.
I think you should not talk much about the opinions of professionals.
I don’t say there are opinions are wrong, nonsense or invalid, but the the difference between rank, gamesense and skill-level is often to huge.
That it all counts the same way for you and your games.

I thought Sombra was op (emp bot) long before owl started and I am neither a pro or streamer.

Sombra is just an emp bot. Emp have very little counterplay and once used, negates about a 90% chance of losing for her team.
Overwatch is a very ult based game, so if you can’t use your ult and they can, you already lost the fight.

Rein is still the highest picked out of all tanks across all ranks and has a decent winrate at every rank up until diamond to gm where it plateaus because Rein is being played by both sides.

His pickrate already dropped a bit.
His pickrate is sill high, because he is the easiest main-tank to pick up.
With a moveable barrier, alone that makes him unique.

If you’ve ever faced a good Sombra, you know just how oppressive she is to play against.
Same goes for almost every hero.

I treat the pros and streamers like I would people on the forum (but with much more mechanical skill), by that i mean I know they really have zero idea of what they are talking about.
What you are seeing in real time is how easy the sheep are shepherded. It happens with more important things too like… well you know.

I like to agree with streamers because then I know what I am talking about. 
It is funny because I went against the grain of pros and streamers claiming Sombra was OP and they buffed her… but now I am part of a bandwagon. Rofl. Crazy.

Yeah losing abilities is okay
But losing Q when you want to use it together with abilities is total chaos.
EMP was overtuned since launch, it was Sombra herself that was weak.

Funny… I main DVA a hero that sombra can counter fairly easily but I dont find myself heavily oppressed by her because I know how to protect myself from her. Also there are a lot more bad - normal sombras than really good ones.
