Its time to ban Razer dodge scripting

Blizzard, Please ban players for using Razer synapse using dodge scripting and get rid of cross-play aim assist.

How to handle it:

  • 1st offense. - 24 hour ban. with warning as to why.
  • 2nd offense - 1 week ban. with warning as to why.
  • 3rd offense - 30 day ban. With warning as to why.
  • 4th offense. -ban their operating system Product key for 360 days. So they still have hope and maybe learn a lesson.

Any macro scripting automation can trigger a permanent ban, so users beware. Aim assist is a necessity to allow controllers to remain close to KB+M performance.

The deal is. If they have to use aim assistance with any hardware. Its automation. bottom line. I had to play video game tournaments on console where there was no “aim assistance” allowed. even if it was a PC vs a keyboard. its still much too strong.

If us pc users aren’t supposed to use an aimbot because moving a mouse is too 'difficult" than a console joystick player doesn’t need an assistance for the joysticks on the controller. They just have to stop pressing in the direction , release and fire their controller buttons.

Why not just ban cheaters permantly, no excuses, no exceptions? I believe many people deserve mercy, as well as Mercy. Cheaters are not among them.

Something about the moter control of moving ones whole wrist vs using ones thumb blah blah I wasn’t really paying attention. I just know aim assist is still allowed and that’s how I prefer it, cuz it’s so insignificant on OW that it doesn’t improve my aim like if I were to use aimbot

I despise it because when when I engage other players that are cross-play in a fight, they are aiming clear off into narnia and then suddenly they get a free automated movement that puts them right on target. Thats what (redacted) me off.

they get free aiming, while I have to work for it. not my fault they cant aim with the hardware they have.

If you’re struggling against controller with mouse and keyboard, that’s a you problem

Not only do people rarely play crossplay with PC, but also you can just play comp to avoid them completely lol

its not a “me problem” im not the one using something that automates gameplay for me. And its not like Joystick gameplay cant be learned just as easily as mouse movement.

Go watch summer games done quick. plenty of good players out there can equally use a controller without “AIM assist”. We need to stop this whole nonsense of saying that consoles are “at a disadvantage” when they really arent.

If this was something like an N64 controller… okay I would say “sure”… but game console controllers are really not that bad. Its a poor excuse to say otherwise. Controllers this day in age are pretty sharp in input movement and very accurate without assistance.

im not going to play comp, no point sorry. Quickplay’s crossplay should be an option we should be allowed to opt out of. They get to do it to PC players. It should be equal as well.

Except
They are lol
Why are console high ranks filled to the brim with XIMs if not for the fact that MKB is better? They’re on an even playing field, the controllers have aim assist, the MKBs have aim assist, and yet controller is significantly outnumbered and people are willing to risk permabans to use MKB over controller.

XIm’ing is their own problem too. I mean I think its more about motor skills than advantage.

I play Bass guitar, Piano, oboe and pipe organ on the side. It takes fine motor skills and different types of motor skills for each instrument.

What I see is people that want shortcuts in place for them because they dont want to learn the instrument (tool) they are given or whats available.

I mean I think about going from my Oboe to playing my bass. Thats a big jump. or going to the piano and then playing the oboe

. Im not going to connect a piano to an OBOE to play it. im going to learn the instrument.

Same with the pipe organ and the mastery of playing a Bach Chorale prelude in the feet (Pedal department) vs coupling the pedal division up to the Swell or Great Organ and playing the entire foot-solo line up on the keyboards with the tenor 16’ reeds engaged". Im going to play it as its written and my college instructor never allowed anyone in the class to do that.

None of that answered my question. Why isn’t there an equal number of controllers and MKBs? Why is it overwhelmingly MKB?
They all got the same aim assist, just different inputs.

i think i pretty much answered your question.

But this is my answer:

My answer is this: “Because players dont want to learn how to use the hardware that is available to them, so they take a shortcut and use a XIM to allow a keyboard and mouse to be attached to their console to play”.

Okay but have you played an electric piano on other instrument settings? It can be the coolest thing ever.

So what you’re saying is;
XIM is a shortcut to performing better and is inherently better than controller

its cool. But its not an oboe.

There is a massive difference between a real oboe and a sampled oboe.

When you get into tonal harmonics and overtones. There is a massive difference. even if you had the world’s best speakers like La’ Acoustics going through a tube amplifier and from a sampled oboe that you play from a keyboard, it still wouldn’t be an oboe.

That’s harsh. It’s way better to just add a setting to opt out. It’s murky territory with platforms being fundamentally incomparable, so the correct choice is just to leave it to the end user’s discretion. They feel it’s fair game? Opt in. They feel it’s unfair? Opt out. Done deal.

I will agree to that. :+1:

Aim assist barely helps in overwatch, its so minor compared to every other fps on the market. The ONLY exception is ana who gets a friendly only aim assist that functions how you think all aim assist does, and even that is less then other games. Controller still offers less functionality, control, precision, and options then mkb.

That’s all I was talking about. How cool it could sound.

yup. they just need to still ban people though for using Razer keyboard’s dodge feature built into synapse.
