It's time...Goodbye. Truth

I’ve tried and tried and ooooh I’ve tried.

This game is just unenjoyable for me, and it has been for a while.

The frustrating moments and the WTF really moments
_(matchmaking, leavers, throwers, QQers, the toxicity, the constant forcing of META builds etc and style of gameplay)

The game feels like a chore sometimes, the bad moments just out weight the good moments.

At least in my point of view.

Time to throw in the towel.

This game feels Forced. Esport. Does. Not. Make. A. Good. Game.
A good game leads to esport. You can’t force it.

I actually agree with the OP here.

I never considered the game a “Forced Esport,” but it makes sense now.

Honestly I preferred Overwatch when it wasn’t an ESport. These metas are restrictive.

What so different? look a the forums…all people do here is complain, no one really cares…

The people who complain don’t know enough so they sound dumb. We need people to actual do some research on stuff and make good ideas for balances. That’s why I don’t complain, I don’t know enough.

Actually I’ve seen many construtive suggestions, many players complaining about the same issues and giving feedback.

in the end…no one really cares…remember? lol

Because they are still really passionate about the game. They’ve found and played characters they love, but at the same time there are massive frustrations regarding teammates, gameplay, balance and more. And eventually they reach the breaking point and decide to take a different path. And the game is lesser as a result.

I really care though. So his game could be great if (most) people actually did their research and didn’t complain to complain. This could be a really good game like I said.

Have fun. No point in playing a game you don’t enjoy

I just wish these people that went down “a different path” would do a little research. I’m fine with people complaining about nerfs and buffs if they did research to go with it and it makes scene (unless it is obviously just for fun like saying that tracer should turn into the payload because that would nerf her a lot).

Why play a game if youre not even having fun? You made the right choice. Gl finding something else

Because these forums aren’t just to talk to the community but to give Blizzard feedback as well. OP most likely talking to Blizzard and not us players.

I care. This players experience is not far from mine.

A common reason why people would say this sort of thing. Say good bye and/or recount the break-up grievances.

They felt they were part of a group. And generally good etiquette on exit from a group is to share why you are leaving the group.

not everyone will do so in a polite share the feelings manor, may be more of an “airing of the grievances” as it were.

But generally speaking for the kind of situation that’s what’s up.

I’d say this (the OP’s why of leaving) is orbiting around:

The environment of being a member of a Community Center
vs.
The environment of a member of a Team in a competitive game.

The general behavioral m.o. of this game’s players (by my online play xp) seems to be the Team group.
Not so much an actual Community group of people that play a game to together.

Your point went right over my head…

All games feel like a chore if you play them for too long. So ya sis.

They want their opinions validated. I find it silly when people make posts like this declaring their leave like some kinda divorce is in order.

Just go play a different game if ya ain’t in the mood to play OW, its not that hard I do it all the time. Yes we know blizzard games are not perfect and people feel let down at times. Literally all gaming communities are like this and its just preaching to the choir.
