It dosen’t mean you can call those hard heroes like tracer, genji, etc op, since they are not (just look at the stats). This game is based on skill, so if skillful player that plays tracer for example outplay you, it’s fair.
Edit: just for the record - by skill, i don’t mean only mechanical skill, but also game sense, awareness, etc as a whole. Skill is all of the things that makes a good player good.

It’s the same with a less skillful hero as well. At the end of the day stop letting people kill you.

That feel when Genji has the biggest hitboxes in the game

Know when he has dragon blade. If you are soldier/McCree/widow know you are dead if he closes distance without any help from your team. If your a support ask your teammates for help. Learn to predict ults and when he has dragon blade up makesure your lucio/zen does not die. Bait out reflect. Learn to predict his momentum when he is jumping. Don’t let him farm ult on you by hiding behind corners or blocking with a barrier when he throws shuruikens at distance. When Genji ults shoot him. And last but not least Git Gud

Don’t agree with Genji being high skill or hard to play, but I understand what you mean and I guess I agree with your point.

You people think that genji is hard af for some reason, but in reality he is a high mobile character, with a SUPER forgiving aim, and the best kit in the game

Don’t let tracer sneak up on you then. Your team also gotta be in position to help. Getting ambushed is getting out played. A series of events happened to allow for it to happen whether it’s teammates dying or you walking into a bad spot. Tracer doesn’t just magically appear behind you and one clips you.

I don’t think Genji is hard to use but rather EZ; However this does not mean he does not take a lot of skill to use well.
edit: grammer
Actually jsut just cause it has a premise of countering doesn’t mean its not a game that requires skill. Even with brigette riskless stun I can easily play around her.

If a player is the same skill level as me, then I should expect to have a certain outcome against them based on hero counter picking.
That isn’t the case with Tracer and Genji. They have too much fight control, to the point where things that are thought of as counters, like McCree, well people pick Tracer or Genji into him to counter McCree.

Same tbh; But it kind of depends. I don’t mind dying to junk if he does some nice direct hits at medium range but that is rare. Genji is anoying but I still try to learn playing around deflect. Brigitte stuns are infuriating but if its a 1v1 and I am just outplayed I don’t get bothered.

This is a game about countering however people want a no skill ability that instantly shuts people down because they don’t know how to outplay that hero. Even with brigette tracer a can easily play around her.
No this game is about completing the objective.

Pretty much. I think people on here don’t like the fact that the top players are playing a competitive shooter rather than competitive rock-papers-scissors.
This is a shooter with MOBA elements, not a MOBA with shooter elements, and at the end of the day if you spend hundreds of hours practicing the most mechanically skilled heroes you can dominate games. Just like in any shooter.
I know that people on here get particularly annoyed with Tracer/Genji (probably as this forum is FULL of people they counter), but at the very least people should be able to recognise that no “easy” hero will or should ever be able to do the things the best Widowmakers in the world can do.

I like how you said the game is about switching to counter the enemy.
You know, if that was the point of the game, I really couldn’t tell😂.
I haven’t seen someone switch other then myself in a good long while😱
