I’m not yet quitting but I do agree with a lot of your statements. However, I do think that overall, the community is improving. I’ve been getting throwers more rarely recently. And I don’t really agree that balance is worse than day 1. There was a time when only a few heroes were acceptable, but now it’s at least a bit more diverse. It’s SO far from perfect, but maybe one might admit that it improved even just a little. I still have faith that Blizzard want to improve this game, but even they themselves can’t figure out what’s wrong. Maybe the model was bad from the beginning. Nevertheless, I don’t believe either that the community knows more and knows better for the game than the actual devs. I’m pretty sure 80% of community suggestions would flop just as badly as the changes we already get.
However I kinda feel for OP. It should have never reached a point where a fan of a game feels defeated about its cause.
