pharah is another one whose design soudns good, but in game its not gonna work out (but opposite of bf is he is too good whereas she is useless)
bastion is yet another.
for original cast they are fine, but with all the additions and changes they have no place is the game as they are and need reworks to adjust their intended designs.
I think itâs mostly the fact that they put nearly everything people hate in the game into a single hero, and thought it was a good idea to release that just because of some hype from a name.
fully agree, i litereally quit this game because of doomfist at one point, i came back when the cree buffs game through just so that i dont die constantly
Hammondâs mobility is dependent on being in ball form, which prevents him from using his main weapon. Genji is debatable, but I donât believe he does have greater mobility than Doomfist, either.
It would be one thing if Doomfist had a damage ability, and a crowd-control ability, and a mobility ability; but thatâs not the case. All three of his abilities combine damage, mobility, and crowd control.
Doomfist can also use any of his abilities to walk away. He can Rocket Punch out, or he can Seismic Slam out, or he can Rising Uppercut out. Reaper has one escape ability; Doomfist has three.
Except you forgot that this is a team game and there literally 5 other people the other team has to worry about besides Doomfist.
You canât predict where he comes from because he flies at mach speed and can come down when itâs convenient for him. Sure, enemies can only come from one from one direction but thereâs still plenty of angles he could do that make it advantageous for him and thatâs not taking into account the map youâre playing in yet.
It baffles me that forum Doomfist is this brawler type/Streetfighter wannabe when in reality heâs literally a tanky stealth assassin.
Ahhh yes these Doomfist has a âpoor designâ never seem to die in ditch not matter how many times it gets debunked. Guess getting gud is too hard for some.
Iâve seen âpoorly designedâ and âunhealthy for the gameâ said about 95% of the cast. The words have been thrown around so much they have lost meaning. I mean what does âunhealthy for the gameâ even mean?
DFâs problem is the same as WB. They have the ability to increase their HP pool beyond an opponents ability to outplay them even if you are able to do so. Essentially through hero design they can out sustain an engagement they should have lost. An issue exacerbated by how Echoâs ult works. Also because of their kits being completely built around CC it necessitates the use of Sombra. A good DF or WB basically means âplay Sombra or loseâ.
The easiest fix would be to cap the max hp gain, DF shouldnât be able to get more than 350 max hp. That way he would have to be better about picking his engagements because there would be more risk involved.
In order to oneshot someone as Doom, you also lose your mobility. If he does dash in, you can stun him, or even shoot him, 300 health isnât that much for 5 players (Assuming you have 1 on shield). To say thereâs no counterplay to him is to ignore all the counterplay available to you, in order for you to have a disconnect from the fact that a nerf to Doom wonât change the game at all. There will still be one-shots, and there will still be complaints. We can only hope that Blizzard actually has something big for OW2.
I always thought he was hard to play as, and against.
With those shields heâs just so tanky, thatâs why heâs hard to kill.
Iâm fine with them getting rid of the shields entirely if they donât do anything to his mobility.
nonsense. Have you not seen the clips of people rocket punching around a wall or up the side of a building?
A nerf to doom would be fantastic and would totally change the game for me. I could actually support without worrying about being dove every 3 seconds. Genji and tracer are manageable in their current state. Doom is not. Even if you land a cc on him, 99% of the time he doesnât die. It would be fantastic if doom were to be removed all together
