If you think that the fact that your team is fielding a Junker Queen is holding you back:

Here’s my advice. Play better, and advance to a rank where she is no longer an issue.

That’s how it is with everything, you only stuck because of your own abilities. not because of mates, not because it’s 5v5 now, not because of the mercy main, not because of a dc every 3 days

I got a feeling those ‘spicy changes’ are going to be crazy. JQ meta coming up?

You never know what’s gonna happen with Alec Dawson commanding the balance ship. He likes taking a stab in the dark for sure.

Im actually really enjoying her rn and I really hope they don’t buff her up to must pick level to then gut her again :skull_and_crossbones:

Junker Queen’s recent buffs ended up being a tad too much, in order to bring her in line with the other tanks we are nerfing Genji.

Here’s the thing, though, and please hold my hand for a moment. Let’s say I agree with you. Would it not then be easy for you to rise above a rank where Junker Queen is viable?

Im not sure i understand. I thought you were saying people complaining about having her on the team needed to climb to a high rank so she’d be viable

He’s saying play well and climb to a point where people are forced to play to the meta, so you don’t see JQ anymore.

I wonder if there is a rank where JQ does not lose against Hog+Kiriko. Should I start my journey to bronze 5 to find out?

Of course it’s not Junker Queen or other low-tier heroes holding players back. But you can’t deny that picking these generally bad heroes can play a significant part in whether a team loses.

She is an issue in all ranks, because other tanks are way better. Throw pick. Can you still win? Yes. If the other tank is much worse

JQ is not so bad , the hero need skill to be impactful.

From a support POV , I’ve seen good JQ on the field but seen a lot of bad one.

I’m in low Elo rank.

She is like Doomfist , not everyone cant play him the right way. But when someone does , those to hero are a pain to fight against

I notice a lot of teammates don’t realize how aggressive her playstyle is, many times I’ll initiate a fight with her and my DPS aren’t even trying to push up with me. :man_facepalming:

I don’t think tank diffs lose me games. I know it. If our team’s tank is doing nothing useful and I’m consistently having to either let their team control point/push the objective, or try to beat a pocketed tank who is free to peel against flanks the only sensible option is to be consistently holding S. So I can avoid feeding, even out perform the enemy DPS or supports, but if we can’t play to the objective we lose regardless.

So it’s the best way to get to 0 SR, as the winrate is <50% consistently
