I wish I had let it play a few more seconds, the clip cuts off awkwardly cuz I derped it up and clipped early.

quickplay is not the place to have a clown fiesta… new players coming to the game, they gonna play quickplay, locking 5dps and not caring to win or playing as a team makes a horrible impression. clowns have been exposed by jeff again.

I don’t expect you to try hard on quick play.
But I expect you to try
Intentionally allowing the team to lose because you’re making an objectively bad decision with the defense of “it’s just qp”, is morally bankrupt.
If you don’t want to play a mode that revolves around some semblance of team play- go play FFA.
You want to “practice”? Go “practice” where you only have to worry about yourself
Because what you’re doing in qp, isnt practice anymore than playing baseball with a tennis racket is practice for tennis.

I do think that 2-2-2 will make practising acceptable in QP though because you have a balanced team comp. Whereas before you’d have 4-5 DPS practising… I will be using QuickPlay to practice more as the changes have made it more competitive now and has a closer resemblance with Comp.

Practicing is okay, and welcome and useful in QP. With 4-5 people playing DPS, they were no longer “practicing,” unless they were individually training in getting out of spawn faster.

Ive been waiting for years for devs to officially make a stance on the “its just quickplay” mentality that imo has hurt Overwatch far more than anything blizzard has ever done to it. Glad theyre finally taking a stance and people know that this excuse is not going to be a thing anymore
