Its getting worse every update

Match making is horrendous, getting worse and worse every update, blizz hands down got their heads so far up their cheeks to even believe that match making is actually “perfect” what a joke bring back jeff and honestly move aaron somewhere else within the company

To be fair, Jeff put OW1 into life support mode to create the sequel that would redefine all sequels and a PVE side of the game that people could main and never even touch PVP.

That didn’t really work out in our favor either.

Yeah, it’s pretty bad in both QP and CP but it is what it is. What can we do?

Cap jeff brought life to ow1 the game went to life support during the final days of ow1 because of bobby kotic, jeff tried fighting not only for his team but also for the state of the game from being a cash grab, know your facts

Always has been btw.

Almost certainly Bobby Kotic wasn’t pushing for a full on pve game of Overwatch. That was Jeff Kaplan’s vision. Once that got shut down, possibly by Kotic, then Jeff left.

Make no mistake, Jeff put OW1 to sleep. And to his credit, if we had gotten the sequel Jeff Kaplan described to us, it would’ve been fantastic.

Cap jeff and ow1 gave us free everything, super easy way to get loot boxes, free skins, free modes like pve missions, everything was free, ow2 the only thing free about ow2 is downloading the game and thats it

I get the feeling you don’t really understand what a fact is.

I honestly don’t care much about this. I just wish the game was being developed properly. It puzzles me how a game can get worse by the time. It’s illogical.

Theres a whole summary of what went down, none of what happened was jeffs fault but ultimately bobby kotic, and heres the kicker at the bottom it states

“Jeff Kaplan left Blizzard due to the sabotage of his dream project and lack of commitment from higher-ups, resulting in a loss of enthusiasm for Overwatch”

At least he convinced blizzard to let us have our progression from OW1. Initially, the idea was that OW2 would wipe all our cosmetic progression.

Honestly, im grateful for that 100%, all in all like how you brought up its very illogical with the direction ow2 is going that its getting worse instead of actually improving anything

I only play ranked and generally find matchmaking decent

I cant 100% disagree with you on that, my experience with rank has be somewhat fair, not so much onesided matches, it has its moments, but decent

All while giving it in players’ cheeks, who somewhat seem to enjoy it.

Yesterday I literally stopped playing after encountering the same 5 Stack 4 games in a row while my team clearly was newcomers… seriously, I know it’ll never happen but I want It at least a solo mode only

I would love a solo only queue, that would be solid

Were you trying to prove me right or no?

Right? Pardon? You’re blaming jeff, though it wasnt his fault, did you even read the article? You’re an idiot and it shows

I think you’re misunderstanding. I said Jeff Kaplan’s vision was the big PVE experience. OW1 was put into standby mode while OW2 was worked on. Jeff’s vision for it sounded great and I don’t doubt it would’ve been. But Bobby Kotic was never saying, “Yes, make this huge PVE game instead of monetizing the PVP.”

Overwatch 1 never had to be put on the backburner. It was done because that was Jeff Kaplan’s vision for it. Crawl, walk, run. Then when the suits shut the door on making the Jeff Kaplan OW2, he left.

In a perfect world, there would’ve been two teams working full time to continue content for OW1 and work on OW2. And that’s where Kotic and the bean counters would’ve almost certainly shut Jeff Kaplan down.

But when people seem to overlook the fact that Jeff Kaplan chose to put OW1 on standby to create OW2, it seems a bit disingenuous.
