Stop blaming players for Blizzard’s poor decision making. No. The content creators did not Quan-Chi Blizzard developers into removing 2cp.

People just constantly complained about 2cp being a stomp fest and almost always one sided which is why they removed it. I hated it some days but I do kinda miss it. It really made playing 2 Shield tank on def strong

Content creators can be at fault too, they’re part of the marketing since Blizzard buys them out

Well, 2cp was the worst mode in the game after all… till push, flashpoint and clash came…
Obviously. I mean, the content creators spread their propaganda and our cute little sheep regurgitate their sentiments until everyone else is afraid to contest the majority and before you know it, people are advocating against their own interests. I get it.
But, at the end of the day, the content creators do that for a lot of topics and Blizzard does not bite. The reality is that Blizzard was frustrated because they could not fix the actual problem (garbage players refusing to learn the mode) and therefore decided to instead release variations of modes that even those players could understand.
“Content creators” can have different opinions from each other. Some may have liked 2cp, others might not have. I personally hate 2cp, but am happy it’s there for the 3 week classic event, as it was part of classic overwatch. People are also allowed to change their minds.
I like the variations more anyways, 2CP was lame unless the teams were both good on both sides
Plus, the fewer gamemodes that you can draw in, the better. Draws are a waste of time.

Every terrible decision taken in overwatch was mainly suggested by an content creator or overwatch league (OWL) teams…
If an hero is weak for an content creator/OWL player, buff it.
If an hero is supposed strong to fight in OWL matches, nerf it.
Today in overwatch 2 is not different, but now we don’t have OWL anymore. So all bad decisions still begin suggested by content creators. And we can see the terrible results…
An example: Genji received an buff to get 30 ammo capacity. Like? What the hell genji needs 30 ammo capacity? Just click spam to kill someone with critic hits… Wow nice change!
