The DPS community in this game is by far the majority. And they absolutely hate it when a Tank or Healer has any value.
Just go ahead and delete the other classes and let the game be DPS only. It is the only thing that will satisfy these DPS players that cannot understand team dynamics.

Strange how they donât have an issue over heroes like rein or Winston who are some of the most impactful tanks on a game, or a hero like Lucio/zen who are very similar, but nah they just hate tanks and healers

Donât say it like âany valueâ is not the most impactfull roles in the game and their synergy. When I play in GM as DPS I clearly see that itâs not that much matters what Iâll do, you will loose or win here just because of tank diff which is better enabled by suports. Good tank cann carry bad dps, but very good dps canât carry pepega tanks. This is just how this game works, but if you are playing it casualy you will not see this.

Youâre kidding right? I would quickly compile 10 links of different threads saying Rein is OP/Broken/Needs nerfs, etc but Iâm not trust level three so I canât post links. And Winston historically has the lowest win rate of any tank and is literally the weakest tank until you get to upper elos and run dive comps, so most people arenât complaining.

This game would basically be mocked as a valorant clone if it got rid of its tanks and supports.
Seriously⌠think about how average and bland this game would be if it were Just DPS heroes.

In all fairness, the tanks and supports usually control whatever is meta.
im pretty sure that its tank/support players who complains the most about metas because they cant play certain tanks/supports because of it
Most rein complainers look to me.like theyâre tank players, not DPS players, and Winston used to be the only good maintank for the best part of the first half of the games lifetime so idk what history youâre in about

Actually no, I donât support removing really any Tanks or Supports.
If I did itâd wouldnât be Brig or Sigma, prob Road and Moira.
Most of the problems are imo painfully obvious but Blizzard keeps doubling down.
Unfortunately, that IS what some (shortsighted) players want.
Thereâs a lot of people who came to Overwatch from âtac shooterâ games like Call of Duty, Rainbow6, and Battlefield expecting OW to be similar/in the same sub-genre.
Overwatch was not originally designed to be a âtac shooter.â It was even specifically made to not be like âthose games where itâs just a veteran sniper stomping over everyone else in the lobby.â
But the devs have never bothered to establish any expectations or official guidelines on how Overwatch is supposed to be played (beyond a couple of interviews while the game was still in beta), so the CoD bros assume that Overwatch is just âanother tac shooter, like the ones theyâve played in the past.â And when theyâre proven wrong, they get upset and demand that the devs make Overwatch into âanother tac shooter, like the ones theyâve played in the past.â
TL:DR: Players whoâve played a lot of âtactical shooterâ games want Overwatch to switch genres so that itâs a tac shooter, too.
