Can we talk about how little speculation threads there are about what cosmetics will be available? Honestly makes me sad :cry:

Probably because the devs stopped putting in effort for everything else. Once they put in a new mode or something people get hyped again.

Honestly I like Junkenstein’s Monster the best. Though second I would put Butcher. And after that probably Rudolph.

I feel like they did not actually think it too far with his first Lunar new year costume. That would have been perfect for year of the pig. But we will see. Will be quite disappointing, if he does not get anything.

I mean last year would’ve been perfect for Fu Dog Orisa (for year of the Dog) but they dropped the ball on that too

There’s no speculation because it’s a pretty lame event.

I’m guessing some “fancy” type outfits with chinese characters on them. Roadhog got his “Pig skin” the first time and we never got any “dog” themed skins last year so I’m not expecting anything glorious this time :man_shrugging:

Not to mention the general lack of effort that has gone in to the events lately doesn’t really get you pumped up for them anymore. It’s more than likely going to another carbon copy of last year with a few new skins.

I would not say total lack of effort when it comes to skins, because winter event had some absolutely stunning ones. But yeah. Lunar new year have been bit lame. The best thing from whole Lunar new year is Moira’s dog spray.

A skin based of the Shen Dzu or God Pig would be pretty interesting for this event, and it would fit perfectly as it has real world ties to the Lunar New Year

Most of Roadhog’s skins are pretty good, he’d need nothing short of a formal skin to match the best of his selection.

Actually, I take it back. Speedo Hog would be hilarious on the red team. Might even be S tier depending on how well the player base adapts to its passive meme status.
