It doesn’t matter if Moira has a “lock-on”

The hitbox is massive. It allows you to completely ignore things like crouching, strafing, or basically any movement that isn’t like Tracer’s Blink (and even then you can reattach it fairly easily).

It being or not being a lock on doesn’t change the fact that’s its easy to aim.

The hitbox is way too forgiving, which is a lot of the reason people mistake it for being lock on. If it was like zarya’s beam at all, the hitbox would be accurate to character models.

there is no lock on in overwatch

It’s being or not being a lock on is irrelevant.

The point is that it’s easy af to aim.

just had to point that out

It’s a skill easy as scoring body shots with soldier 76 without the reward of crit I don’t get your point.

She already got her M2 nerfed. Leave her alone.

Supports in this game are a joke, only 2 out of 6 heroes require skill, yes I said it boys and girls.

Nope. Hitscan shots are so much smaller than Moira’s beam hitbox.

Not to mention you don’t have to control your spread.

She also does the lowest DPS in the game. 50 DPS to a single target without the opportunity to headshot.

If you can’t kill Moira in four seconds, her primary fire is not the issue.

It’s easy to use because you need to do damage with it to fill up your resource meter. You need it to heal.

When did I say Moira was too good? All I’m saying is that she’s easy.

Ok. So what? She has low pickrate.

Would you rather her tool for refilling her heal be difficult?

No, I would rather her have a higher potential output as a trade off for making her resource management more difficult, honestly.

I’m not saying she needs changes. I’m saying she’s easy. People need to stop saying she needs Zarya-like aim. She doesn’t.

Its never the hitbox of projectiles is the hitbox of characters which are so huge. Yeah soldier has a spread but his bullets kill way faster than moira who should be healing the team. I don’t get why people are so pissed to get killed by her zen does way more work than her.

No, I’m pretty sure they said her beam was closer to Zarya’s than (2.0) Symmetra’s.

It’s a soft lock. You have to aim a little, but not quite. If the problem is how easy she is, Mercy is also guilty.

hmm don’t really agree with this, I’m assuming the two you’re referring to are zen and Ana but Lucio also requires quite a lot of skill, yes his healing and utility is passive and his wall ride is a lot easier now but still the depth in decision making is pretty high with him, knowing when to do things and where to be matters more for him than most, aiming his gun (yes actually aiming not spamming and hoping for value) is rather difficult especially with his movement and wall ride, and his ult is probably the hardest to utilize out of the supports with the timing needed. This is coming from someone that plays more zen and Ana as well btw and they are difficult as well but don’t sell Lucio short, I hate how people assume Lucio is “just exist and get value” when that’s a garbage Lucio. Same can be said for the other supports just to a lesser degree although I will give you that they are much easier.

Being easy to aim with is to make up for the fact that her DPs doesn’t ramp up, and she doesn’t get crits. If there is anything to complain about, its her reach. But again, not damage ramping and no critical, she needs something to make up for it.
