Charge and bubbling still works and you can still ult if there is a sombra-it’s not a death sentence like it is for reaper vs brig. Also if you use sombra as that theoretical hero- every hero is countered by her according to your logic- so she should see 100% play time
Brig is seeing increased play time because she’s new. Just like sombra was seeing when they buffed her.

Reaper can easily beat Brigitte. I did it multiple times just yesterday. The wraith form cancel is the key. Seriously she can’t deal with him unless he runs head on at her. Why is this community so bad at the actual game???

Reaper first few shots useless against Brig because of armor. She can consume your ammo with shield. She can do combo. She can stun your sneaky close range assasinations. She can make your ults suicide. But still i feel like Reaper in a better position than before.
its her shield are the problem
600 shield is too much
make it 400 shield
it seems last longer compared to rein, since its smaller it takes less damage from junkrat/pharah
the only efficient way to bring down brig shield are with soldier, since junkrat / pharah u will miss alot if u fight her at more than 20 meter, she can dodge the explosion
You think Reaper does 200 damage a shot? You think Reaper does 200 Damage a shot from mid range?
I do love these ‘600 HP is nothing’ claims. I’d love to play with the people making them so I see them crushing three squishies in three shots each time they play.

I don’t see how any Reaper can win a Reaper vs Brigitte fight to be honest.
You can either stand outside of her bash range, in which case you will do laughable damage to her tiny hitbox shield or negligible damage to a Brigitte’s armor, which she can easily outheal. You only strategy here is to destroy Brigitte’s shield with your 20-30 damage per second and pray that her team doesn’t arrive in the 30 seconds you take to break the shield.
Alternatively you can go aggro in the Brigitte, in which case she will simply stun you, which is far easier than trying to nail a headshot on a Brigitte thanks to her small hitbox, and then 190 combo you.
The whip in the combo will knock you all the way back, which essentially means you will be back in the exact same position as before you started the engagement, only with 190 less hp.
Yeah tell me how to win that.

Beacuse as we all know, Reaper should counter everyone.

He should have a fair chance of winning a fight in CQC, the only range at which he can be effective.

But Brigitte is exactly meant to counter characters that operates in close range and close range only. Using reaper is like trying to kill pharah with a junkrat.

Yes, you seem to have identified the problem quite succinctly. Brigitte is ‘designed’ to dominate in CQC… rendering all other CQC characters irrelevant. Does that seem balanced to you?
It’s actually like trying to counter a super pharah that stuns, shields itself and has heat seeking missiles with regular pharah. Both Brigitte and Reaper are designed for CQC.

I have a hard time seeing how Reaper can kill Brigitte in her current state, all she has to do is use her flail/bash/whip combo for that 155 damage then hold her shield up and wait for 5 seconds. Reaper can’t burn through her shield in 5 seconds and he only has 250 health.
Reaper is really having a bad time now. And if the poor bloke tries to drop down to use his ultimate, Brigitte can stun him out of that too because it’s apparently not channelled the same way as Genji or S76, so its entire duration is cancelled from 1 shield bash.
Reaper counters tanks, Brigitte counters flankers. Seems fiar enoug.

She is countered by anything that operates out of her range. Reaper is not in the list though. She is simply a hard counter to him.
