This is a bit more complicated than “free vs paywall”… If you don’t pay for Amazon Prime, then yeah no skin for you unless you pay up… But if you already pay for Amazon Prime (I think there are some deals there if you do, and there is theirs streaming platform) then technically you got it for free… Just like with gift for any kind of subscription. If you gonna pay for it anyway then you got it for free…
But in general calling it “free skin” is a bit dishonest, since it is not free for everyone… If you want to see a free item keep close eye on epic games store. They frequently do giveaways of free games (last time I saw it it was gtaV - and it was few years ago so game while not fresh also wasn’t by no means old).
