I just bought the Logitech G733 Wireless Headset. I turned on the surround sound option. If OW is minimized or not in front of the other programs, the sound is amazing. However, once I tab into OW, all the bass disappears. It’s really weird. I’ve had many different headsets and none of them have ever done this. If I disable the surround sound, this doesn’t happen. But, then I don’t have the great sound. Any ideas why the SS will work when minimized but not when I actually try to play the game?
The logitech software may have game profiles that automatically detect when a particular game is in focus and changes the profile/configuration to some preset for overwatch.
Also just my own personal opinion: Dont bother with the headsets surround sound features. Just enable Dolby Atmos in game and leave the headset surround sound functionality off.

I would also double check to see if Dolby ATMOS is causing interference if you prefer to use the headset surround. Also try doing a full reset of your video and sound options by deleting the following file:
Documents/Overwatch/Settings/Settings_v0.ini
Note this will reset all video and sound options back to their defaults (your Controls, Gameplay, and Social options will remain intact as those are account level options). You know this worked when you see the “Are You With Us?” Animated Short when relaunching the game.
