I don’t know why but for some reason the game changed Mccree’s name. It’s very confusing and thought that maybe it was a premature April fools joke.

what else to do? stupid changes generate stupid reports. is someone ask them change the name? no, i’m sure the most players didn’t ask. why they did it? because! now they get reports on this “bug” why? because!
And you assume this? From my experience, most people wanted the name change.
They did it so that the name “McCree” wasn’t around anymore as the character was named after a horrible man. Now, this doesn’t mean anyone called ‘jessie’ or ‘McCree’ is linked to this guy, it just means that McCree was SPECIFICALLY named after this man, who turned out to be bad, thats why they changed his name.

No one of my acquaintances didn’t want a change of name for Mccree.

Some logical questions:
1)where is a connection between real person and game hero?
Connection by name is really stupid accusations because if any person with name “Jone” will be guilty, it’s not meant that all Jones in the world will change their names.
2)is hero in the game did something wrong? Is the hero in game did a real crime or other bad stuff?
3)I tried to find any information about your words, but didn’t find any proofs from court or information that the court found him guilty and sentenced him, please if you are saying that this person is really bad and make a crime could you give me a link about official information that he is really guilty or court process or news that have official sources.
I found only news that repeat blizzard decided to fire him and many rumors but not facts.

I believe it was the right choice to change the name, you don’t. Thats fine. I respect your opinion but if you are too blind and short sighted to only see your perspective of why the name needed to be changed, then maybe reconsider your words.

I can see and understand the second side’s arguments, but I need proof that wrote black on white “Jessie Mccree is guilty and got sentenced for his crimes” by the court.
Any proofs that I could find is that company Activistion blizzard was accused.

This is what I found and maybe I’m blind, but can’t find any Jessie Mccree mention and even there will be it’s just accusations that should be checked and decided by the court.
The point is you call him horrible person, but did you know him personally?
Did he do something bad for you personally or someone in your friendship area?
Is there any proof that he is actually guilty?
I just want folks to know this was just a joke.
