There’s an issue where the game disconnects me from its servers. It’s the only online multiplayer game that i actually have this issue in so i believe its most likely not my wifi. (My partner who also plays overwatch has not experienced this issue and we play under the same wifi)
Is there a fix to these constant disconnects? Normally i wouldn’t have minded but since that stupid update regarding penalties for “leaving” quick play im now being hit with period of times of suspension when i never intentionally leave the game and its leaving me unable to play.
If your partner is playing the same game on the same WiFi but only you are disconnecting, then it would be an issue with how you’re accessing the game. You didn’t mention which platform you’re playing on, so I’m not sure which troubleshooting resources to direct you to.
I have the same issue im mid game then the other players and me glitch across the screen and then it kicks me out saying lost connections with server then i get suspended even though i never left the game intentionally. Its killing my enjoyment of the game
I still don’t think anyone should ever play an FPS game on wifi.
That being said I have wired fibre connection and am getting booted mid game from what feels to me like a login server disconnect being reported as a server disconnection.
What region are you in?
OCE has been getting worse and worse with these issues and I’ve got a number of friends who cannot play because they are getting penalised so much for the disconnections.
The easy explanation is our horrible infrastructure but I suspect they moved the login servers to the cheaper singapore servers we get filtered into when populations drop at the end of the seasons and they reduce the OCE server budget to make money.
