Hi not sure if best place to put this.
The past 2 days I have had real issues sending game invites to friends and them sending them to me.
Around 10 mins later I will suddenly get 5 or 6 invites one after another so seems huge delay. .
I have tried resetting xbox and router and not sure what has caused it.
Could be a coincidence but only started happening after xbox interface changed recently.
Any idea what could be causing this as never had this issue before.
Is this invites using Xbox Live’s friend system? This might be outside the realm of Blizzard support (or my own for that matter). I am however noticing Xbox Live is reporting issues as of right now with social features on Xbox Live:
I had the same problem last night. Both sending invites to play overwatch through my xbox live party and through overwatch itself. Both cases no invites went through and we need up squading up through LFG…
Hi I have also tried to invite friend from social tab also inside the game where shows your friends in game. Could be Xbox issue not sure.

i think it is xbox, had the issue myself, but they were eventually recieved
I remember sometimes having issues sending invites, and this was about a year ago. It was only for Overwatch.
It’s seems all fine now and I got an invite no problem tonight.
Looks like issue resolved as status on your link now all green.
