Something seems to be completely broken with Zarya, she seems to be bubbled 80% of the time and even with 3 people on her she’s still easily murdering dps/supports on her own. In every match I’ve been she doesn’t just top damage, but tops it by a wide margin.

It’s because she can double bubble now. And with the game kinda being a zergfest of damage while people get accustomed to new mechanics, Zaryas be gettin fed hard.
I was at max energy for most of my games as Zarya because people didnt stop shooting me.
I don’t really think it warrants a nerf… yet…
Major tip for you and to give to your teamates when shes doing tons of damage is tell them
DONT SHOOT THE BUBBLES.
Ive had to do it a fair bit myself in OW1 ranked where zarya is 90% charged the whole game because my teamates for whatever reason think they can break the bubble and then do 400 damage.
She can’t use them more frequently. If anything the cooldown has been nerfed. It’s the fact she can now double bubble whatever she wants instead of being restricted to 1 on herself and 1 on a teammate.
Not shooting the Zarya was a valid option when you had windows between her bubbles. Now that window almost doesn’t exist.

Just dont shoot the bubbles still if she double bubbles leave her she has 0 cooldowns blow her up or kill her team they have 0 protection.
If you keep her low charge you can almost ignore her how low her damage is when shes high charge shes almost unstoppable.
The only time you should ever shoot bubbles is if shes already used one bubble and shes less than 200 health.
Only if the dps are bad or niche/situational dps.
If you charge her: yes.
The double bubble is what I meant, jusy worded it poorly. Didn’t know about the CD nerf though so that’s good to know.
This is not true. She has more flexibility but the number of bubbles in she can use in fights lasting longer than 10 seconds is lower than before.
Imagine not shooting the bubble. That silly little thing won’t stop my bastion from shredding a zarya in 2 seconds flat.
Originally zarya had an 8 second cooldown on ally bubble and 10 second on self bubble.
Now it’s a full 20 seconds to get both bubbles back.
