Is xbox the better choice on ms rewards than OW coins?

I saw someone mention this in another thread.
Basically the idea is

  1. Link your xbox account to your Battlenet account
  2. Redeem ms rewards points for xbox giftcards
  3. go on the xbox store in web browser
  4. Buy ow coins, which should transfer automatically to your PC account through cross progression

I believe you can do all 4 of these steps without actually owning an xbox console, but I haven’t tried it yet
The benefit over redeeming for tokens directly is that this would let you get the bonus coins for buying in bulk and also let you buy the Ultimate bundle, starter pack, etc.

Anyone know if this would work or see any problems?

I’ve got an Xbox and a linked account and ms rewards, I’ll check it out in the morning and see how it looks.

you guys REALLY need to stop wanting these skins
like god, spend that xbox money on a new game, or donate it

Personally, I have more games than I can play, and I don’t buy shop skins, just the BP. Doesn’t hurt to use the free points from Microsoft to get free coins from Blizzard to get free stuff in the game I play.

you should give the Sam and Max Remasters a try, legit good games…well for point and click adventure games

Omg are those the funny characters from Poker Night at the Inventory? I love those guys. Never played any of their games though, didn’t even know they were from a game. I thought they were from a tv show or something.

TECHNICALLY they are comic strip characters, their first game was in the 90’s from lucas arts, then they had “3” games from tell tale in teh late 2000’s, and recently the remasters and a vr game
they did have a cartoon

Ah I see. Good to know. Telltale games are usually pretty solid, so I might check them out. You know, once I get through the about 25-30 games I’ve got installed on my PC… :eyes:

best part of the remasters is that all the episodes are packed together and the only change s that the devs did (besides making it look nicer) was changing some dialogue that were…well they didnt age well.
