Is Using a Macro for Voice Chat Allowed?

I use an application called VoiceMeeter to make some adjustments to my microphone. Unfortunately this application adds a little delay from me talking, to my voice being able to be heared by other people in-game. For this reason when I release the Push-To-Talk button, my final words get cut off.

I have set up a very simple macro that adds a 200ms delay between me releasing the button irl, and the button actually being released virtually. My voice does not get cut off this way. However, this being a macro(albeit just the normal button press + 200ms delay). Can I get banned for this?

Using macros to delay or prolong keystrokes sounds like it’s against the rules, but you’re unlikely to get a direct answer from Blizzard about it. The rules are posted but they can choose to interpret and apply them to fit each situation.
