Is Twitch drops not being received going to be addressed?

The day of the kiriko twitch drop event I immediately started watching and got my voice line claimed (I already relinked my twitch account like blizzard said to do before the launch of ow2 so I was ready.) Within 15 minutes or so I got it in game. Next I claimed the kiriko sukajan skin, I ( And many others) are now on day 5 after claiming it and still have not received it.

I did how ever put in a support ticket. After around 4 days of not hearing anything they finally got back to me. Just to say “please know the Overwatch Team has continued working on solving reported problems.” and gives me a link to Jodie’s post of known problems and issues. Currently the problem with Twitch drops isn’t listed in this post or in the recent news update called “Thank you, heroes, Let’s talk…”.

All that this support ticket has left me with here is to assume that we are going to receive the health pack charm and reaper skin as compensation and would have to purchase the twitch drop kiriko skin next season.

All I hope is to see some type of official recognition of this problem, to put aside some of the worries, people who participated and didn’t receive their twitch drops have. I hope that everyone who participated will get there missing skin, voiceline, or both eventually added back into their account.

(Please share you’re experience with this issue as well so that we can further help the dev team be aware and learn more about this issue and hopefully help the people affected by it and stop it from occurring again in the future.)

Same issue here. Been like a week since I’ve claimed the rewards and still yet to receive them. I did relink my bnet account and click the claim button

I wouldn’t be too worried if it doesn’t show up on your account because in season 2 the skin will be obtainable through other means, as stated in the hero gallery.

Chances are you’ll be able to use your legacy credits to get the skin during the next season if you really want it.

Did you reconnect your Bnet to twitch after OW2 came out?

You have to connect it via Bnet connection page now

I didn’t realise myself until last night lol, so just thought I’d mention that, just in case.

yes i did connect it using the new method in the Bnet connection page since its no longer connected through twitch

I connected my battlenet account to my twitch a week ago.

I claimed the voice line that same day, and the skin the day after. Neither of them are on my Overwatch account, despite being redeemed.

I checked my account today, and my twitch was disconnected despite nobody but me being on my account, and I absolutely didn’t disconnect it.

Despite that, my account was connected when I claimed my drops. The new drops are soon and I’m extremely frustrated because I still don’t have the drops I literally claimed.

Chiming in to say I’m also still missing the skin. I made sure to reconnect my account as soon as the news came out that we would need to, and within minutes of claiming the first drop the voiceline came in just fine. Going on day 7 of still missing the Kiriko skin despite claiming it the same day as the voiceline.

I ended up sending a ticket to support and all I got back was basically “we can’t help you, but we passed it on to the dev team, here’s two articles that cover none of your concerns”. Pretty disheartening reponse, and I understand there’s more pressing matters in regards to glitches, game-breaking bugs, etc., just feels like this is a huge glaring issue with the drops system that could potentially be a very easy fix. If the next batch of drops in the coming days is anything like this, I feel bad for the poor soul who’s gonna be glancing at those support tickets lol.

At the very least, I would’ve thought the dev team would’ve made some comment or tweet or something to let players know that they’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix, makes me nervous at the lack of communication on something small like this.

I see u also got the haha we cant help u support ticket response. Pretty sure its an automated message since i got that same message

Oh absolutely it’s automated, or at the very least copy+paste since I can’t see why it would take five days to send an automated answer lmao

Everyone having problems not getting the Twitch drops needs to go into the Battle.net connections page and double check that their system didn’t disconnect your account from Twitch.

I connected my account with Twitch last week. After 5 days I never got my stuff despite claiming them and Twitch listing them as claimed in my Twitch inventory. I just checked the BNET connections page and it listed me as not connected despite the TWITCH connection page showing it as connected. Once I reconnected for the second time from the BNET page, it finally gave me the drops.

So I had to connect my account to Twitch TWICE to get the drops to actually work.

When I reconnected, for the second time, from the Bnet connection page, I got the drops in game within 2 hours.

Me personally, I’ve checked both bnet and the twitch connections page multiple times over the course of this enitre fiasco, both are connected and I’ve yet to see either of them disconnected.

Tbh, at this point I’m hoping for someone at blizz and/or the dev team to at least give us an update on what’s going on with drops, it’s driving me up the wall not knowing lmao

Still don’t have it!

I am definitely connected. checked multiple times. even wanted to unlink and relink the same or even a new twitch account and watch the extra hours but there is a 7 day cooldown so i dont want to unlink it and get screwed over since the event would be over by that time. This is still a big problem that needs to be addressed by blizzard at some point. I appreciate you bring up a potential fix for those fortunate enough to only have a problem with twitch disconnecting from their account.

I was worried about disconnecting my account because it warned of a 7day cd, but I checked and I had 7 days before the event so I took the risk. It did not put me on a cd, I’m guessing it is because you are reconnecting the same accounts. So 7 days before the event I disconnected and reconnected. I got the voiceline the first day, I also unlocked the skin on twitch on the first day. However the skin never showed up. Yes I logged in for NA, I know that is in their guide. I also disconnected and reconnected my twitch and battlenet once more to see if that would help, I did this 4-6 days after I earned the skin. It has been over a week now and I still do not have the skin in game.

thank you for this information. really appreciate it.

is the problem solved? I have not received the first two drops (voiceline and skin), but today I received the spray with no problems.

I already sent a ticket and they told me that they can’t do anything for me and that I should search the forums for answers lol… :C

Problem is still not resolved or been acknowledge. very sad

Oh my god, finally, after 11 days, the skin finally unlocked for me.

Now we move on to the new drops and hope for the best ;A;

No way u actually got it?
