I think he’s a bit weak but I’ve been seeing a lot more torbs played recently
I just think his turret has to much range
I think he is ok. He could use a dual ult being a Lvl 3 turret and auto-reload when he activates overload.
Yes he’s been in a very good spot since OW2 launched. Imo a lot of that is because his ultimate is a hard tank counter for a lot of tanks and with only one tank in the game it’s basically a team fight victory. Karq just put him in A Tier for 99.99% of players.
I think he has a little too much going for him. 200 base health, 50 armor. Overload grants him +30% movement speed, +100 Overhealth, Increases Rivet Gun’s primary fire rate 37.5% and secondary fire by 40%. He has a turret with 225hp, 40m range, lasts until destroyed or replaced, and deals roughly 56 damage per second. His ult, while annoying, is fine.
Yes, he has a particularly massive hitbox, but his damage output is not insignificant. He’s a little too strong in the metal ranks, but probably not great at Masters or above.
Ya his damage is crazy while in e his dps is stronger then reaper if you have a winston problem go torb you will kill him 9 times out of 10
I’m happy playing as him, and although I doubt buffs are in the pipeline, I hope they don’t make him any stronger than he is now. In that respect I think he’s in a good spot.
Hm i would put his turret on a timer so he has to rebuild it every 30sec or so, same for syms turrets.
Dmg wise he is in a good spot i think.
I think he needs help, specifically his projectile speed because it is slow enough where he just spams at chokes instead of being able to skillfully aim. Mei is at 115 mp/s, while Torb is at 70 mp/s.
I have also thought about his turret build speed being buffed, possibly his turret health being reduced down to 200 as some compensation. I think it would make him viable on more maps since he would be able to more quickly get a turret deployed on a whim.
I think this shift in power for his turret wouldn’t benefit lower ranks as much.
I’m not sure that would actually change all that much for Torb, since I’m probably replacing it before thirty seconds anyway. Either they destroy the turret or the jig is up and I’m changing its position.
I’ll admit to not having played Sym since the healing turret experimental, but I think her turrets are on a ten second cooldown for each turret? So that sounds like it could be a pretty irritating nerf for her and I don’t believe she really needs it. If Sym turrets are getting you down then I’d suggest interface improvements; while it’s obvious that we’re getting cooked in a controlled environment or a duel or whatever, a lot of people seem to struggle working out what’s going in the chaos of a team fight. Better hit markers could help with that.
Dam I like those changes ngl I’d like for him to be slightly tankier too or atleast reduce his headshot hitbox he’s like the dva of the dps category
