Is This Allowed In Chat

I just played a match and right before it started the first thing somebody said in general chat was …err…sexual things. I said something like, “You know kids play this game too.” Then all of the sudden that was enough for the flood gates to open and the toxic comments towards me began from the opponent and my own team. I ended up reporting one person cause they were being nasty and then just muted the chat channel.

THE QUESTION: Is that stuff allowed in this game? There is innuendo and then there is …uhh…what that person was saying.

Without knowing exactly what was said there’s no way to know.
But as a rule, that kind of vulgarity is generally reportable.
Best to just report it, mute it if you find it irksome, and keep quiet about it to avoid drama.

Thank God. It seemed like everyone was so against me being against it, I wanted to ask if maybe I was wrong and it was actually allowed.

Edit: Ya. I was attacked from all sides about it. I will do exactly that. Report - mute - move on. People are really awful about how they treat others. :frowning_with_open_mouth:

Report it.
The chat gets logged, reviewed and action is taken, if warranted.

Most you’ll lose is 3 minutes to fill a report.

Report. Move on. And don’t say a word.

According to the TOS anything can be considered toxic enough as long as it garners enough reports.

Anything from asking for help, suggesting a strat, or giving advice.

Which all can lead into arguements or false repprting no matter how organic and wholesome it may be.

I digress though. Vulgarity in that form is highly inappropriate. I’ve had episodes where I did the same thing and probably got reported for “chat harrassment” or “toxic behavior” for just saying “Can you please stop?”

I start off every game by saying “I like men” then when they say “me too” I reply “jk” another favourite is “I don’t wipe” or the classic 8=====D followed by me saying “smiley face”
