Is this Aimbot?

SO i capped this guy playing Cassidy, and all through his gameplay it looks like soft aimbot, then you have this moment, slowed down to 0.25x speed in replay. His name is Discord on Oceanic servers.

No. There’s no cheat there. Just hits Kiri right in the hitbox.

It is not Kiri that the aimbot happens keep watching, it is the snap to the emre.

Yeah, thats probably just input lag of some kind. It doesn’t snap to a specific point and doesn’t lock on.

Yes, that is cheating. The snap at the end really sends it home.

Ignore WetWipe#21807. They consistently try to say that people arent cheating:

If clip contains no cheating. I’ll say no cheating

Funny you took that first quote. You’ve deliberately missed the context. The guy I said “gave up and threw" was the one actually cheating.

If he was aimbotting how come he missed his first point blank shot on the Kiriko? Do you have any other instances where you suspect this person was cheating in the same match or only one instance? Cause that really doesn’t prove anything. If he was botting he would’ve hit the first shot too.

I like to think any actual decent aimbot would have a % where it misses on purpose to make it less sus. but maybe i am giving too much credit to cheaters

Its not 2002 any more cheats miss to not get caught, if they had 100% accuracy all the time the automated system would catch them.

Could be cheats, could be lag, could be replay glitch, could be a mouse issue. I don’t think there’s enough info in the clip to come to a confident conclusion. If it looked like this all game I wouldn’t blame you for reporting them.

it’s cheat.

100% serious.

And on top of that, on heroes like Cass, Ashe, Queen & Illari, they’ll use a trigger bot along with their cheats to snap to a target.

Regardless one instance is not enough to verify whether or not it’s actually cheats or anything Kornmeal mentioned. If it’s snapping like that on a lot of kills then yes it’s more likely but one solitary instance is not enough to determine whether someone is cheating or not.

So I ask again: Do you have any other instances in which this sort of aiming was captured or was it only one time?

Thats not what a trigger bot does

This. Replays are not perfect so its impossible to say unless this is happening throughout the game multiple times

My b, my b… I was thinking of an aim/toggle key.

It looks like he lagged. If you watch, he’s not moving his mouse for a while until it lands on him, I’ve seen this stuff happen before on verifiably legit players.

Hard to tell from a single clip. But keep in minds that replay crosshair can jitter due to network issue. Cheaters also miss a lot of shots, and dont always aim at the same spot, modern cheats are pretty advanced, we need to watch the entire game to analyse both his aim, and his positioning, or trying to pre aim enemy behind walls to judge if this is a cheater.

Imo the Scatland clip was less sus than this one. What makes you believe you are more credible of a source on this subject than anyone else?

Who said I was. I gave my opinion on the clip I saw.

The Scatland one, that one is blatant and obvious. He’s tracking them through walls with perfect placement.

This, can be explained though multiple variants of lag. So it’s not quite so clear cut. And, my guy instinct is no cheat.

Report and ignore everything WetWipe says. Hes a known forum troll and defends everything that is wrong with the game. Bad matchmaking doesnt exist, cheaters dont exist, the game is PERFECT according to him. Do not respond to what he says ever just ignore it.
