Let´s say you wanna play Ana or Widow, but every single game you get into - your main is banned. Two games in row, three games in row…is there any limit or people, who main hated heroes would be just permanently punished?
I hope algorythm would find you a games without ban after 3 games max., where your main was banned, or something.

Yes, the protection is that we all hope certain heroes finally get nerfed after the community shows blizzard they’re tired of the constantly banned heroes, such as, ana, sombra, widow, genji, pharah, etc.

No, Ana players have ruined the game for 9 years and are all boosted by 2-3 ranks. They don’t deserve to have their crutch hero protected. They can derank and learn a hero that requires some skill for a change

It´s not about learning a new hero xD I main almost all supports. It´s about having fun.
Considering Ana is my most played hero and I have a 58% win rate on Zen in diamond and masters this season, what do you think would happen if I played Zen in your gold lobbies?

zen is not that hard to play, you hold corners and spam mouse 1/charged volleys. your only defense against dive is good aim which even gold rank gods can have these days since most online gamers nowadays are chronically unemployed with 1000+ hours per account. but to be honest, even with good aim, you can still be completely outplayed by dive on zen just by virtue of the fact you can’t escape. having to hit 100% of your shots every time you get dove, just to survive, does not in fact mean he requires “high skill”. the character -literally- doesn’t do anything mechanically besides be a discord bot and spam mouse 1. sorry, but thems the facts. you can climb out of gold and plat with zen easily since it’s basically like having a third dps; that doesn’t make zen require “high skill”. i constantly end games on zen with 10k+ damage and practically 1:1 healing ratio.

Zen doesn’t require skill but he cannot survive vs dive. So which is it? People know how to play Tracer and Genji at my rank unlike the 1000 hour hard stuck gold gamers.
And I still have a 58% win rate. Zen spamming down main all game doesn’t get any value when you play against people with their brain turned on which tends to be the case at diamond and above

The protection is to go play Quickplay and destroy those kids. Ana players specifically can play Stadium. That’s what my Sistah Spice and I will do once we flee the country.

Honestly not looking forward to hero bans. It really screws over solo queue players and just promotes players to throw when they can’t play their favorite heroes. I’ve already seen it happen several times in rivals.

It’s so bad in Mahvel that I actually hide my own character from my teammates. Except for Emma because everyone is trying to play her.
Some weirdo on our team banned Emma and supposedly it was a mistake, so I did not bother throwing. That being said, I did steal Iron Fist from someone who already highlighted him and he threw. 
I’ve been saying this for years. Hero bans are amazing. They give the community power to shift the game. These devs don’t play the game, they don’t understand how fing obnoxious some heroes are and they don’t listen to feedback.
With hero bans, these devs can either accept Ana and Sombra have essentially been deleted from the game by the community, or they can get their sht together and actually rework them into not the most annoying heroes ever created. It’s absolutely pathetic how much they’ve reworked sombra only to miss the mark every single time. Invis + hack should NOT be part of the same kit.
I believe a lot of marvel rivals success is simply because it’s overwatch without sombra.

Depends on the map and my role for me. If im on a brig map ill let them play sombra. If im trying to play ana ill want sombra gone. Im sure tanks like mauga or hog want ana gone. I dont think every hero will be banned every game. Just depends on the map and who plays what when. I wouldnt worry about it too much. If im dmg i have no problem taking a widow duel with hanzo or ashe. Some ppl might and will want her banned all the time.
Hero bans might be amazing to one part of the community, while a nightmare to another part. I think this is their screw - up. They designed things a certain way and now they have to add fixes, that are only gonna benefit to a certain part of people, while punishing another part.

They definitely should limit the bans to Diamond+.
The bronzes sure as hell don’t deal with server admin Sojourns, they don’t know what is actually a problem.

Yeah, pretty much. That’s partially why I prefer it. 
It’s also Overwatch without Ana.
