Is there any map Widowmaker is bad on? Because it seems like she shows up just about anywhere because there are high grounds and long angles on every map.
Reaper on the other hand shows up on Li Jiang alot, otherwise I dont really know what maps Reaper is especially good on.

She is pretty awful on most king of the hill sections.

Oasis university is one
Typically. Because her best sections such as Illois ruins or Lijang Gardens have good enough spots where she does not have to. But some of them there is just nothing for her which forces her to be far too close to the point.
Widow is bad on Oasis University. Reaper is good on Anubis B.
Most KotH maps, other than Illios: Ruins and Busan: Downtown.
I feel like I see her all the time on Nepal.
Illios well is probably her worst map
She is good on Lijang Tower Night Market too.
Not really. There is only one platform of high ground on either sides of the main area, and they don’t have sightlines to the objective. It is also easily dive-able.
I’ve never really played Widow so idk, but I always see other Widows do well on that map. Whenever people are on the point, that entire open area is like a ghost town and no one is there.
Widow can stand in the open area after everyone has moved on to the point, but it is very open and ground level, so enemies can pretty much attack you from any direction they want.
The optimal position to play Widow is to be somewhere far back and out of reach, while still having a good sightline on enemies. Liajang Tower just doesn’t have any position that fulfills both of those conditions at the same time.
Good Aim: None of them
Bad Aim: All of them
There are maps that she loses a lot of value on. Mainly sections of a map that have short sight lines and lots of cover.
Anubis point B is a prime example.
If you dont have a single counter and let widow run rampart then sure, she is both playable and workable on every single map.
Works the same way with some other heroes when you look at it in a vacuum like so.

Sym will die instantly. Winston will die instantly. DVA will die instantly. Ashe will die instantly. Hanzo will die instantly. Soldier will die – you get the point.
Ball. Widow. Double dive. That’s it. Period. End of story. This is not a discussion.
Unless of course this is like diamond or plat or something. Then sure there’s tons of counters because the widow is meh.
