Overwatch is so inclusive, and I really hope the devs take a big step in revealing a trans hero…I don’t know any game where there are trans heroes…just someone to represent the many shades of this culture.
Lately I have been thinking of Moira and kinda clung on to the hopeless belief that she might be transgendered, but there is no real confirmation that she is. Does anyone know of any signs where she might be?
Edit: I’m not saying that Moira might be trans because of her appearance, there are many traditionally beautiful women who are trans. I am asking because her sprays made a few of my friends ask if she was trans…which placed the idea in my head…so i thought i would ask.

There are no signs because it doesn’t matter. If you want her to be trans, she is. If you want her to be cis, she is. It doesn’t matter. We shouldn’t be forcing representation onto characters. Moira can be whatever you want her to be as long as you don’t force your opinons on other people and let people believe what they want. While I don’t think she is trans, if you want to believe that, that’s great, but I don’t think the devs should have to tell you that.

No because her sprays made my brother ask if she was a male and it made me curious if Moira is transgendered. There are tons of cute/classically beautiful trans women.
Who honestly cares. Why are there so many posts about these things, lore doesn’t affect game play, this is irrelevant.
She’s flat and kinda androgynous, but there’s still no reason to suspect she’s trans.
Then why do they bother making comics? Supplementary media is neat
The sexuality of characters isn’t addressed in-game. Even the Tracer “reveal” that everyone went nuts about is never referenced in the game, just a web comic.
I still find it strange that so many people want a token representation of every possible demographic, but whatever floats one’s boat.

Like just because she’s tall and has one of the deeper voices of the women in the game? Who’s to say that, for example, Symmetra isn’t trans? Some people are very passable.
How does her being a former man make her a better character in your eyes? I don’t get it.
