I mean besides the smells you make afterwards
good question. there’s always the risk of salmonella if not cooked properly.
Ever wonder why we don’t eat turkey eggs?
What about hard boiled eggs?
The shells. They get stuck between your teeth, and they taste terrible.
My wife taught me a great trick to peeling a hard boiled egg. You wrap it in a handy towel, hit it gently on a surface and give it a roll. If it’s cooked properly, the shell will rip the membrane underneath and most of the shell should naturally be easy to peel off in one go.
They’re more expensive to produce and don’t taste much different than chicken eggs.
Did you already know this, or did you look it up? xD
Most eggs are laid by chickens fed a crappy, grain-based diet and kept in crappy factory farm conditions. They come out pale and watery.
Really good eggs have a rich orange yolk, and are laid by chickens that live on open air ranches and eat a natural diet of plants and insects they select themselves. However, they’re quite expensive.
Too many eggs can increase the risk of heart problems, but you have to eat like, two of them every day. Just eating one egg shouldn’t do the average person any harm.
But I am not a doctor. I’m just a guy on the internet repeating what I’ve heard.
Only that you need to learn at least dozen ways how to prepare them. Eating several scrambled or boiled eggs every morning can get you to hate them real fast…
I read an article about it like two days ago.
This is actually not true, people used to believe this which is related to cholesterol, but recent knowledge show that it isn’t the case as there are different types of cholesterol and eggs have the good one. There are lots of videos on this on the interwebz I recommend watching them!
When you bite into them you run the risk of stabbing your gums with the shell and the yolk runs everywhere.
I’ve heard that salmonella is actually on the shell, not in the egg itself… but I’m cracking the shell we may accidentally contaminate the contents with the salmonella on the shell. So, I guess, wash the outside first if you plan on eating it raw
Anything can be bad for you, if not eaten with moderation.
But all in all, cooked properly eggs are very healthy.
