I am looking for a website that can compare comps in the current meta. something to the effect that i can plug in the current team comp and see what would be the best fit i should pick? is that even an thing?

It is not a thing because there are more variable than counters. Such a website would give a supreme false impression of what hero to select.

I read that as “a website where complainers complain” and I’m like buddy, you’re on it.
But like Czech said, you can’t really do anything better than a rule of thumb. Like Widow is a good counter to another Widow, unless their widow is better, or it might be better to run a Moira to deal with their Tracer instead of an Ana, but then you’d lose your Nanoblade. Or switching to deal with their pharah might be less useful than just playing your own strategy cause their pharah isn’t very good.
Without some kind of data to back it up, it would be too speculative and subjective. At bare minimum we would need win rates of pairings of two heroes. For example what is Pharah’s win rate when paired with Symmetra? Maybe if we had that then we could create something of value.
