Just had a cheater on my team. I have video of them cheating and was wondering if there was a way I could directly send it somewhere with the btag.
I mean no offense but I have little to no faith in the in-game report system.
EDIT: He’s now been banned after including replay code, btag, and points he was cheating. Thanks guys!!
EDIT 2: Replay code is 2HWDE4 for those who want to see (I play EU so might have to be on EU region to view) Guy on my team swaps soldier towards the end of round 2 and that point it becomes obvious.
you can report and in the comments of that report just paste the game replay code and explain who was cheating and how
only thing i can think about

I forgot that was a thing.

I do wish they could implement an instant kick/ban for those abusing wall hacks. Like code off map areas to instantly kick and ban players who go inside.

oh there was a site you can go to too. ive seen people post it forgot what it was tho
If you REALLY want to be safe, record their pov and archive the video somewhere for them to see as well.
I do that, but at current age a replay code usually will suffice.
I just used nvidia game capture thing to save the game play and have it on my pc just in case.
You can also submit any content to the email address hacks@blizzard.com. I strongly recommend keeping any video content posted privately or unlisted.
And it is a very good idea to include the Replay code in the game report form

Upload it to a drive or somewhere so you can generate links for it if you want to be safe. Otherwise I think that should be enough.
That is useless. They won’t take video or any other recordings in any way, shape or form as evidence.
Only thing OP can do is use the report function. Not saying that this system is perfect but that is unfortunately how it works.
I wanna see it, is that allowed ? Sometimes I feel like I run into cheaters but can never tell.
Edit:
Nvm I thought you could DM users, Can you describe it lol
Upload to youtube as a private video, email link to hacks@blizzard.com. Include the replay code if possible as well.
if you’re a large streamer like flats they might just watch the vod and ban them live on stream for you
not really but people like watching codes here
You report in game and link to your video.
Do not post that video on the forums as it is against the ToS and may get your account in trouble.
There is, however, no rule against posting your video channel’s url.
Reported him in-game with code and details about points in which is was clear he was cheating, and his btag.
I’m guessing he’s now been banned because I got an email telling me a cheater got banned because of my report
An email? They used to do email notifications during the early years when they were refining the report system. These days it’s supposed to be an in-game notification.
A friend of mine got both, but I only got an in game one a couple weeks back when we both reported someone. Perhaps there are some email preferences in the account settings that determine if they do this, since it’s definitely still a thing.
The replay code is: 2HWDE4
I play on EU so not sure if you need to connect to EU region to view it or not? Guy on my team swaps to soldier at the end of round 2 (which is where it’s clearly cheat)
Doesn’t the code expire each week at server reset?
Here’s a sample of what I would like to submit.
I have a vid (mp4)of a cheater in various resolutions.
duration: ~2:30
In 1920x1080 it’s 725M
In 1280x720p it’s 229M
In 512x288 it’s 10.2M
I know my email won’t support an attachment of the full size unless I zip and split into 73 10M parts. Will they accept 73 emails with one part each?
Please advise.
4 DAYS - STILL WAITING.
Have another video to submit.
