Is there a way to report cheaters if you have replay footage?

I’ve been getting at least one cheater every other game around 3900-4000 SR ranking and its frustrating that almost every game consists of at least one person playing unfair. I have a boat load of replays with notes and time stamps that show obvious and blatant cheating in the replays on specific people.

I feel like even though we report in game that someone is cheating, it takes forever for them to be reviewed and banned. Is there anyway to submit replays with specific time stamps for review?

For example I have a replay code 7MHR0E and the player LigmaMonkeyS#1707 is obviously aimlocking

Not that I know of. Only system I know is report then move on. As nice as it would be to have a timestamp or an improved review and report system this is all we have.

I think there is a way to report the replay but I have no idea what it was intended for.

Umm… How do you even cheat on Overwatch? If they aren’t using aimbot then they aren’t cheating, there really is no fair way to play on Overwatch from my experience, yeah some can choose to play more opponent friendly actually worrying about their opponents enjoyment. But there really is no unfair way to play or even a way to cheat unless using aimbot.

Unless you play Sombra, then you gotta basically not give a crap about your opponents enjoyment, because that is your job to piss people off and turn the tides in your teams favor. XD

It is probably intended for the thing I just mentioned. Aim bot users, if you see someones play of the game you can usually tell if they are using Aim Bot or if they are just a good aim. They usually use POTG to weed out Aim Bot users.

No, there isn’t. The system is unfortunately flawed to the point that if you can agree on an 11 person report, a game can be shut down. Regardless if cheating is happening or not.

Report 3-4 times
Ends up being useful I think

(What I do is report 3 times and then the last one I write a paragraph of why I’m reporting, the next day I usually see the “thanks for reporting”)

Okay, as unfortunate as it is I guess all I can do is get through the rough of it and just call it a loss if I do notice some unfair gaming and get on with the next game anew

cheating is really easy to do, its just expensive at around 70$ per week or 300$ for lifetime

Unfortunately, an automated system is the only thing they can do. Just realize that they don’t know how to be good without cheating.

You have to wonder if their inbox just doesn’t have hundreds of thousands of emails they’ll never even look at though. :unamused:

How long was that a thing? I legit was computerless and Overwatchless for a week, I am trying to get up to date with stuff. I seen Echo is a thing now, which I don’t really care for in all honesty. Probably won’t even touch that hero more than one or twice.

Since the initiation of OW. Ow’s source code and engine is as easy to cheat in as source engine, it’s just most players back then enjoy the game and therfore don’t need cheats to boost their “enjoyment”.

So it was always a thing, good that means it ain’t something new I have to work against when I return to the game.
