Its really annoying not being able to send links and post pics/VODs anymore.

Yeah, itā€™s just annoying. Like starting from zero on new account.

Incidentally, if you upload a link to an image file on r/Overwatch. You can do stuff like this with a level 2 account.

I mean i have like 13k posts. It should be obvious that Iā€™m not a spam bot. I got some forum suspensions, but these were minor offenses and none were related to my lvl 3 access.

I think if youā€™ve been suspended in the last 6 months, you canā€™t get level 3 as thatā€™s what happened to me

I was suspended several times, you do lose lvl3 but can gain it back.

But I dont have it atm.

I have never had the capability, I sure as heck wish I could post images but even after having almsot 2000 posts and being here for like 3 years I am still, somehow not worthy. It actually low key infuriates me everytime I want to post a picture and I canā€™t.

Yeah it was weird for me. Once I got silenced for like 12 hours and I got tl3 back the same day but when I got silenced for a week I only got it back last month

Posting is not enough. You need to spam likes and make people spam likes on your topics and posts

I like a lot of posts, but if needing likes is a requirement thatā€™s incredibly lame. That encourages a lot of attention seeking and discourages regular old discourse. That isnā€™t even a great standard either. Because some troll posts just blurt out something racist or misogynistic and will still get like 80 likes. If thatā€™s true what a joke.

Once the suspension is over it takes 100 days to regain lvl 3 if you continue to meet the requirements

Same here, it is really annoying that you are back to square-one if you get a suspension, you should be able to get it fast if the offense has nothing to do with your access.

I feel like a part of the problem is how easily you can be suspended sometimes, I literally didnā€™t get a post flagged for 6 months and the first flagged post got me suspended.

Youā€™re required to send out a lot of ā€˜Likesā€™ until you ā€œrun outā€ donā€™t really have the patience for that.

Its been 4 months for me. Iā€™m on the forums on a regular basis. I only dont spam likes, but i never did.

I was level 3 when I had 3 posts in total and no topic created. But I lurked some weeks/months before giving likes, reading topics, spending time on the forums.

I have no idea how it works. I had it, lost it after a suspension, got it back, then randomly lost it again, no suspension or anything, it just dropped back to level 2.

I have a feeling I just donā€™t make the like threshold, but Iā€™m not going to change forum habits by suddenly liking loads of things. Itā€™s just not a thing I ever got involved in.

I also lost it after I took a break after role queue, but got it back quick then as well, then. So there is some kind of ā€˜participationā€™ metric.

I mean, why make liking mandatory for getting access rights?
Tht just devalues what your like even means.
