Is there a way to earn the Overwatch Coins?
I was under the impression that if you completed the weekly challenges, you could slowly earn some of the overwatch coins that could be used to buy stuff.
However, when I am looking at this closer, it looks like there are 2 different types of coins that almost look identical, and I’m not sure if I am earning the right type. Both of them look like the letter “G”
I have been doing these weekly challenges, but I don’t see my coins increasing.
What is going on here?
You used to be able to earn coins through the weekly challenges, but they moved them to the free battlepass instead. So just progress through the pass and you’ll get 600 coins.

Are these the coins that appear gold or white?
When I hover the mouse over the gold one, it shows these are the coins and the white ones they are referring to them as “credits” Is this your understanding as well?
Yep! Gold = coins (“premium” currency), white = credits (“free” currency)
As long as ow2 has been a thing, the fastest way to get those gold coins has been microsoft rewards program.
Couple minutes of suffering the usage of Bing every single day and you get 200 coins every 2 weeks or so.

I have been doing that too. Finally got to my first 200 coins.
When I set bing up as my default search engine and did search in the address bar, it did not count. I had to like first to go bing then make sure I was signed in then do a search from the page itself. Sort of a round about way of doing it.
Thanks
