Sorry if this has been asked before, it probably has… I don’t think I have ever posted on the OW forums before but I just came back after over a year or so of not playing and this is the first game mode I have disliked (started playing when OW came out and have no problem with 2 cp).
So I was just wondering if there was a way to block or opt out of flashpoints when I’m queueing?
If not, whatever, it’s not the end of the world but I just really don’t have fun on these maps and the fact they seem to take so long (maybe it’s just in my head) makes it feel even worse.
I hate to say this and I’m embarrassed about it, but for the first time ever I’ve started leaving when I get this mode (In QP only, I would never leave a comp match).
Like, I would rather take the penalty than deal with these maps and if the penalty gets crazy long I’ll just play something else or watch a movie or something.
Junker City is especially bad, I can deal with the other flashpoint map kind of. But Junker City is just absolute trash, every point feels awful to fight on. It’s actually insane how professional developers came up with something so terrible.
I still have no idea what happens on these flashpoint maps. Everything is switching around? Control points and spawns? I just rely on lucky guesses when that mode comes up.
I don’t understand what people don’t like. It’s just control point but the point moves. It’s identical to 90% of Overwatch at this point “fight in the square”.
You mean to say I can que with Rein, bastion and mercy and keep queuing Kingsrow and complete my battle pass in a day and there is nothing wrong with it ?
Mercy damage boost bastion and rein is designated shield bot.
i highly doubt after ALL the feedback on here, that we will have
“10 minute q times”.

We get people here that are doomsayers that blame and say Q times will go through the roof over anything that changes. The thing is. When you have reddit post users, youtubers, and forum dwellers all saying the same thing about something that they want, and for the same exact reasons.
It is not going to “increase Q times”.
It becomes a fallacy because people that left this game would more or less return because they left because of Reason “A”.
This is the most echo chamber reply I have ever seen. Honestly it’s delusional. You need to get out of the internet echo chambers because the minority opinion loudmouths have got you thinking that the nonsense they scream is representative of the majority.
The majority of people who play a game like this will never come to this forum or reddit. They will just play the game. I would guess 95% of the players have no strong opinions about the new map types except to be happy some variety exists and they don’t have to play nothing but control point all day.
Coming here just to get mad at someone that doesn’t agree with you seams like you are only here to derail the thread and take it out on somebody to feel better about yourself.
