I’m new to the custom game side of OW and I just happened upon a pretty fun looking game mode.
I spectated for a while and liked the setup, I also thought the people were funny and friendly.
So long story short I told them the game looked fun and that I’d come back later to play assuming I could…
It was then I realized that only the GAME MODE itself saved along with All the other rooms available… but No way for me to find the lobby I was just in.
Is there even an option to save the Game room you’re in with the same people? In order to come back later? I’m playing on console, thanks for taking the time to help.
No there’s not, unless the lobby isn’t full thats the only way to come back but of course nothing gets saved (I’m talking about custom games where there might be progression and stuff like that). But maybe it’s possible already but custom game makers haven’t gotten that detail oriented to include that in their custom games, I dunno how much specific you can get with their custom game maker program.
Yes, go to custom game. Go over to “recent”. It should allow you to directly join that lobby if it is active.
No that’s not what I meant, I don’t mean a game modes progress but the Lobby I’m playing in. If I had to leave but wanted to come back, is there a way to save the room I’m in with the same people?
I did that but it only shows the GAME MODE and AUTHOR along with all the available lobbies(currently 102) but when I click, it dosen’t show me that LAST lobby I was just in…
If I had to leave for example, is there a way to return to the Same Lobby room I was just in with the same people?
All the lobby rooms have the same name, they’re ALL labeled after the Game mode, but nothing specific tells me what lobby I was JUST in.
Hope I’m not confusing.
Theres none unless you remember the people in that lobby or something

You could, possibly, try also joining off of the profiles of the players you were with.

I see, I see… so there’s no Official way to save a game room then. That’s pretty bad by design… but so it is.

To be fair, that’s most of Overwatch 2 
One other thing you could maybe possibly do is try friending the host of the lobby or someone you liked in it, so long as their xbox/ps4 account is set to appear online, the custom games they’re in will be highlighted at the top of your list.
But yes sadly there’s no direct way to do it, which is a bummer.

Yeah I thought of that, unless I REALLY liked everybody in the room it’d be a hassle just to come back aha
