Is there a limit? I’ve also experienced the bug where I’ve lost a considerable amount of credits and also can’t use them to make purchases.
not that I know of, but you cant buy everything with credits

I was planning to buy old anniversary skins like Sombra Black Cat and Doomfist Gladiator. Bought 2 before that now I can only buy with coins.
If it’s anything like OW1, it is no longer anniversary time. So they aren’t obtainable at all. Unless, you can skip the wait by using premium coins?
But it’s hard to say what the next anniversary event will be like(which skins they decide to give away between now and then). That’s almost a whole year away.
To your understanding was using overwatch credits to purchase say legendary skins was only in effect for the anniversary event?
I thought it was, but they said they are keeping it (it is still there, I looked at it yesterday to see the new) and will slowly add more skins to it. Hard to tell which they pick since it’s vaguely popularity based apparently.
But typically yes, the skins are just “unavailable” when the event ends. But things have changed since OW2 and some skins just say wait for it to appear in the shop.
Yeah, didn’t want anything new. It showed a lot of available skins to buy this morning. Then took a lot of credits from me and I can only use coins now
it shows coin prices when you don’t have enough credits.

At the start of OW2, most event cosmetics were locked, and you could only buy them if they appeared in the just for you section, I remember it. After some updates, and without making it public, they just were unlocking event cosmetics, to the point that now practically 99.9% of event OW1 cosmetics are always unlocked, and that change happened before S6, I have a thread were I talked about that but it was overshadowed by the #1324135 post about nerf X, buff X.
Well my currency bugged so all this makes plenty of sense now
