Kiriko happens to be one of those broken things.

It’s almost as if staring at winrates and pickrates isn’t how you balance a game… which they’ve proven to be true consistently.
Kiri is not balanced. Simple as that. Bloated kit filled with way too strong abilities. No one has yet to make a single argument against this other than

Or just making some really stupid comment about the hero that’s entirely not true to justify and defend her. I get it, this forum is filled with low elo players / support players who can’t identify broken things because they rely on it to win games, as it’s their main role. That’s fine. But at some point we gotta get a grip with how the game actually functions. Kiri is busted.

I literally JUST made a post asking to nerf sojourn. Sojourn isn’t a doom counter. Maybe I just don’t enjoy broken heroes.
No, I’m serious. I’d you nerf Kiri now, there’ll be nothing to reliably shut Ana down, and she’ll go from being the Top Support to the Only Support.
Outside of self cleanses, the only Hero who has a Cleanse apart from Kiri is Zarya, but choosing Zarya purely to be a Cleanse Bot is a waste of a Tank slot, and her Projected Barrier and Particle Barrier cooldowns are far longer than Suzu’s, if we take into account that Suzu is a Utility tool and Projected/Particle Barrier is a Defensive tool. So it wouldn’t be worth running Zarya for something Kiri can do better.
But you nerf Kiri first, then there’s nothing to counter Ana. Because, again, Zarya’s nowhere near as capable at removing status as Kiri is. And if Kiri becomes a weaker pick before Ana, Ana will go from dominating to actively putting your team at a disadvantage if you don’t have an Ana. And she’s been dancing on that line for years, now, even back in OW1.
Yeah true I think both are just so unhealthy. You have this anti-healing mechanic that is a relic of the past and is just way too oppressive in a 5v5 setting
And then instead of changing the effectiveness of that they gigabuff tanks self sustain cooldowns, add a hero to “counter” this overpowered mechanic and also just keep buffing and adding immortality abilities. Realistically they all need to be toned down, Ana and Kiriko are the biggest offenders but then you also have heroes like Baptiste just running around being an absolute menace, but truth be told the problematic abilities will never be addressed
And all Ana and Kiriko players will tell you is “Ana is fine because Kiriko exists” and “Kiriko is fine because Ana exists”. I’m just tired of these two heroes having such a big chokehold on the game
Antinade is the only thing that tanks will respect when facing a support.
Nerf it, and the support role will pose exactly zero danger against tanks.
Its not like Antinade does anything on its own anyways. Bad tanks whine about Ana as if she ‘deletes’ them, but the truth is that Ana only enables her tank and DPS into a kill. Ana can never kill you herself, and anti-nade is only valuable and leads to kills in a number disadvantage situation.
Regardless, lol kiriko is bad.
Stop thinking that your personal annoyance means a hero is a balance issue.
Kiriko is mediocre in every rank. Which should tell you how good she actually in a vacuum when she is picked entirely to counter Ana. Beyond countering Ana, she is just bad. Her healing is mediocre, her damage is trash unless you have unrealistic accuracy. She is an ult bot with a nice escape most of the time.
Again, she escaping your kill attempts does not mean she is overpowered. She is just annoying like several other heroes of all roles, and the entire point of a pvp game is to overcome and win despite that.
Its more likely that they are going to buff Kiriko than nerf her.
2 tapping people requiers unrealistic accuracy??? even though it happens a lot??? her projectiles aren’t small, just spam head level and it’s bound to happen eventually. Or you know… aim it?
Her healing isn’t mediocre it’s already a full 20 hp/s above mercy, even including recovery time. (and we know what a pain it is to try and kill something with a mercy pocket)
Again, there is no world where a hero who is undivable, can 2 tap as a support, and has an immortality ability is mediocre, bad, whatever spin you wanna put on the ball.
Is she mainly there to counter ana? Yes… that’s what she was literally designed for because blizzard is too stupid to just nerf ana. That doesn’t mean she’s bad and cannot be played outside of that.
I see no reason why we cannot remove the intangibility and immortality from suzu (yes I know god forbid, but the ability doesn’t need 4 different functions in one use) and simply lower the cooldown so she has the healing / cleanse effect more often.
And even lower the range of swift step. Or make it require LoS like GA.

I would agree, but sadly they’ve screwed the game balance so bad to where ana and anti are a literal requirement to kill certain tanks or they just never die. So when kiriko comes in and completely cancels the anti. It’s now complete aids!
This is the game they’ve created with their refusal to just… nerf anti from the beginning. We wouldn’t be having raid shadow legends tanks and another busted support hand crafted to counter a different busted support.
Actually using objective data as supporting evidence for your argument is a whole hell of a lot better than what you’re doing, which is just repeating “she’s broken” over and over without any data to support your claims. Nerfing the support that has a sub-50% winrate in all ranks is incredibly silly. You being bothered by a hero is not reason enough to nerf someone. Makes perfect sense you’re a doomfist main though. Like a Winston main complaining reaper is BROKEN despite all evidence to the contrary because the hero makes their precious one trick pony difficult.
winrate is calculated based on time played, so a low winrate suggests this character is very good in attacking, whereas a high winrate suggests the character is very good at stalling (hence defence). That is why winrate in this game should not be taken as the sole reason to nerf/buff characters
Where are you getting this notion from? Like you got a source or something or can you explain this logic? I think she’s mostly a low winrate because if you can’t hit consistent headshots and/or the enemy doesn’t play someone like Ana, you’re almost certainly better off playing a different support. She’s inconsistent and her value gets significantly diminished if she isn’t cleansing status effects with suzu.
I know winrates aren’t a perfect metric by any means, but you gotta admit nerfing the support most likely to lose you a game regardless of rank is pretty silly. People just need to admit they find Kiri annoying but she’s not OP.
