when’s the grand reveal that the prank is over and we can finally nerf the impossible to dive, immortality, 2 tapping, top 5 ult hero?

like there’s gotta be a certain point we reach right? Where we can just move on from letting this hero be this dumb?

Remove the intangibility and immortality from suzu? Lower the cooldown? Make her an actual killable target instead of trying to play tag with the hero who can wall climb and tp away up to 35 meters, with no feasible way to actually prevent / counter the ability?

No like seriously… this hero is devoid of counterplay. I don’t even mean heroes to select to counter her, just in general. There is NO stopping swift step, whether you like it or not. It’s going to happen.

Suzu is a defensive ability, there is NO stopping suzu. You can be dva and hope a kiri is dumb enough to just toss it out while you’re within 10 meters of her and have defense matrix up. But that’s not happening.

Her ult? free value. Fire and forget in the general direction your team will be playing / pushing.

Her 2 tapping ability? Hey man, you can literally flank with this hero. Go have fun, go into backlines, 2 tap someone, and then just vanish out. And if that doesn’t work, just distract them for a bit and then vanish out. Just spam your massive projectile head level and you should be dandy.

Oh you found an isolated target who’s out of position who should be dead 9/10 times for their poor play? NOPE. Kiri tp’s in from Valhalla, suzu’s them back to full HP, and now YOU’RE somehow the one at a disadvantage. No counterplay to that, no outplaying that.

And before all the kiri pfp’s come in here saying a bunch of nonsense. Your hero is broken. You are delusional if you believe otherwise. There is no defense for this hero.

It’s stupid… bottom line. This hero receiving any buffs was stupid. This hero not being changed a long time ago, is even dumber.

Why don’t you try onetricking Kiriko and see how far you get?

There is this streamer guy named Metro who claimed that supports are broken and wanted to prove it by onetricking Kiriko.

He had like a sub 40% win rate.

The guy then asked his viewers to find a clip that shows how OP Kiriko is despite his subpar performance.

What I’m saying is, your feelings towards a hero are not at all related to that hero’s balance.

I hate Junkrat but I’m not going to ask to nerf him.

Frustrating? Sure, but she’s not burning down villages. You can scare her off pretty easy unless you’re the one out of position.

She is.

When your hero has an overly bloated kit, with insane abilities, and also has very little downsides (if any at all)… yea your character isn’t balanced.

What is this supposed to do? Ok you scared her off… and??? Scared her off to where exactly. She’s a support. You don’t need to scare supports off, you need to kill them. If you don’t, the rest of the enemy team won’t die. Me scaring off the kiriko from my backline does genuinely nothing.

A hypermobility hero who can wallride, do damage while healing his team with AoE, and has knockback while having no weaknesses!? Yes, nerf this OP trash into oblivion!!! :face_with_symbols_over_mouth:

Nah lucio just has a specific niche and comp that he works with… brawl (which he turns into rush) and it just so happens, some of the best tanks in the game work perfectly with that!

Kiri can be used in literally whatever comp you desire.

Especially when lucio does have weaknesses and counters. Also the fact that the best you could do with lucio is “hypermobility wallride, damage while healing, and knockback” LMFAO meanwhile kiri’s is “2 tapping, immortality, 35 meter teleportation” hero.

Like even the generalization statement about the hero’s kits aren’t comparable.

But why did Kiriko get dropped for Lucio if she’s so powerful or flexible?

That doesn’t really make sense, especially since Ana is still top of the food chain of supports

i have 300hrs on kiri and have hit gm1 with her and tbh the idea of adding a cast time to tp could work but she’d need some sort of buff to her kunai since she would be forced to play down main more and flank less… and then bap would just vastly out perform her in poke damage.

shes weird bc if she isnt flanking, then other supports are better dps/poke options than her… so nerfing tp, or suzu, or even kunai are all very iffy changes since it could force her into a suboptimal playstyle that would keep her perma benched in comparison to the other supports who can already do similar if not more damage

I guess reading is your strong suit so I’ll rewind and replay it again for you…

Lucio has a specific niche, where he comes into brawl comps and turns it into rush. When that specific niche is available, lucio will 9/10 times climb into the meta. This has been the case since… forever.

You said “oh lucio meta so therefore he’s op!” no… lucio became relevant because the top tanks in the game, fulfill his niche requirements. When those tanks aren’t there? Guess who’s gone? And even with these tanks in the meta, kiri can still be used and still do her thing. That is not the case for lucio.

I’d rather they just remove the intangibility and immortality from suzu, and just lower the cooldown. There’s no reason that his ability, should have 4 different functions in one use.

  • Intangibility
  • Immortality
  • Cleanse
  • 80 burst healing (110 if it’s cleansing a status effect)

That is just ridiculous.

I’d also prefer if there were actual counterplay elements to kiri tp instead of “i’m gonna dive and this won’t do anything because the kiri will just tp 35 meters away through 5 different walls and live”

Maybe make it behave like GA where you need LoS? Just a thought.
