Is storm rising the last overwatch mission?

The new mission is set with heroes using their default skins. Winston tracer genji and mercy. And we know that their default skins are kinda of their preferred skins that they have been using for some time now up till the present day in game. We see in Df origin Winston tracer and genji fighting him before he goes into prison. Does that mean this is one of the last missions we see for the overwatch organization/faction before its fall?

Saying this based around the poster that was released and the fact that the heroes are using kinda of their best suits (the default skins) as they are the most up to date. What do you guys think?

I mean I think they could jump around if they really wanted to. Is Storm Rising supposed to take place after Retribution?

Yea its after retribution it revolves around doomfist and Maximilian. I based my theory around how they look. Considering these skins are like the best skins they had and they are using them to the present day

Retribution comes first, then Uprising, then Storm Rising chronologically.

Retribution being the oldest of the three.

Retribution takes place 8 years ago, Uprising 7 years ago, This one 6 years ago just before the fall of overwatch

So… Blackwatch in Rialto happens, then Overwatch in London? Where did it say that?

There is a lot of lore out there, and there are a lot of lore timelines because of it. This one is incomplete given new heroes and lore, but it is very solid for the information we have.

Would you consider this mission one of the last ones or not.

Chronologically heres how it goes down.

First, Retribution in Rialto happens, Reyes assassinates Antonio, and him, Genji, Moira and Mccree battle against Talon’s army to escape.

Then, Uprising happens 1 year later. Reinhardt, Tracer, Torbjorn and Mercy go into King’s Row to clear the resistance from Null Sector and rescue the hostages.

Now, Storm Rising is happening, Genji, Winston, Mercy and Tracer are going to hunt Maximillian, follow the money to find the truth and get enough dirt on Doomfist to put him in prison.

Storm Rising occurs right before this:

Last one, doubt it, they just dont have enough for other factions to have their turns yet. Hopefully the next tank will be talon so they can have missions, or they flesh out lore and do other overwatch missions. But it definitely isnt the last

I’m hoping they save that one for the last mission before they move on to the next Overwatch game. It would be pretty poetic

I put it in the wrong way. Would you consider that mission as one of the of the last few missions overwatch will have. Not the last one but one of the last few missions like 2 more missions and that’s it.

Idky but that reminds of avengers civil war. That would be cool but would that be considered a mission doe? And not like a fight?

They want to show no alliance, so default skins make sense.

Oh. hmmm. It might be the last Overwatch org mission since right after that Overwatch/Blackwatch started to get investigated by the UN and then the explosion happened.

I mean why wouldn’t they want to show that they are apart of an organization that can put you in jail? It would not give the. Authority to capture criminals and that’s they are doing in that mission right? Correct me if I am wrong.

Yeah I think so too because these skin can also factor in a time indicator. They are skins they are using to the current day because they are the best things they wore technically. So maybe at the time they were new to them and we get to see why they chose them and how that mission leads to the fall of overwatch

It’s because OW was being heavily investigated, a lot of agents weren’t wearing their uniforms around that time. Genji outright refused to wear his Blackwatch uniform because of the Retribution incident.
