Is ReShade allowed?

Hi.

Wasn’t sure where to post this.

Is the ReShade program allowed to use with Overwatch?

I know that GeForce Experience’s shaders work with the game but obviously it’s not like GeForce Experience would ever result in a ban. However, since ReShade is an independent program I was wondering if that one in particular would be ‘flagged’ as a cheat even though it pretty much does the same as GeForce Experience does, except it has hundreds of extra shaders to toy with to change the visuals to our liking.

Does anyone know if it’s allowed or if it’s a known ‘risk’ and could be detected as cheat and result in a ban?

No. It hooks into the drivers/game and therefore is not allowed. It can be tweaked and modified to give players a potentially unfair advantage.
